I have been bringing my BMW cars to Motor Werks BMW of Barrington for over 10 years. I am consistently impressed by their genuine concern for the customer. Throughout each service process, their communication has been exemplary, keeping me informed with regular updates through email, phone calls, and text messages. Going above and beyond, they offer conveniences such as car loaners or Lyft rides back to my home or workplace. While acknowledging that dealership servicing might come with a slightly higher cost compared to local options, Motor Werks BMW took the time to sit down with me, exploring various pricing options and demonstrating a flexibility in working with customers. A particularly nice aspect is the comprehensive video report sent via email, where the actual technician working on my car explains any issues uncovered during the initial inspection before work begins. This transparency is not only refreshing but also instills confidence. As a result of my recent visit, I would like to commend two exceptional individuals from their service team, Robert Oberding and Marc Collura. Robert patiently explained processes and pricing details, always steering clear of any pressure tactics for quick decision-making. Following up on their commitment, Marc contacted me to ensure my satisfaction. Despite the scale of this dealership, Motor Werks BMW maintains an environment that feels very much like a family-run business. I've recently heard about the change in ownership at Motor Werks of Barrington. I don’t typically write reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience. I came to BMW of Barrington after a awful experience with another dealer. Angel Rivera called me back within a few minu share my experience. I came to BMW of Barrington after a awful experience with another dealer. Angel Rivera called me back within a few minutes of leaving him a voicemail. He put me in touch with Ryan Durso for extending my warranty and Marc Collura in service. The teamwork between sales, finance and service was exceptional. Angel introduced me to Ryan who thoroughly explained my warranty options. I ended up extending my warranty. Ryan introduced me to Marc in service who went above and beyond to get my car in for service that day. The service team took care of my issue. If BMW is the ultimate driving machine, the team mentioned above is the Ultimate Service Team. If you are looking to buy, lease, or service your vehicle.. look no further. More

Follow through is everything I was recently in to have a damaged tire inspected as I was nervous that it would start to fail.. The team identified that the tire did need to be rep I was recently in to have a damaged tire inspected as I was nervous that it would start to fail.. The team identified that the tire did need to be replaced, but noted that they needed to order a new one and the tire should be fine to drive on. Unfortunately the next day the tire started to rapidly lose pressure and I ended up having to pay to have it towed to the dealership for repair. Marc Collura handled the call with the roadside assistance team with me (stayed on the call the entire time) and investigated the service call to see if the tire should have been driven on or if some other action should have been taken by his team. He ended up comping me the tire as he did not feel the team should have released me with the tire damage that was present. His dedication to ensuring I was taken care of when the flat happened, and follow through to ensure his team was providing the best service is exceptional. Additionally, I would be remiss to not mention that Christopher Lima reached out to me the next day to continue to discuss the issue. Mistakes happen, its life.. but the follow up and insistence to go above and beyond any of my expectations was greatly appreciated and really sets the team apart from the competition. Fantastic experience and clearly an exceptional team! More

I admit that I wrote that out of frustration and I regret it. My apologies to Marc Collura, Kenneth Klusendorf and Margie Gallagher who were more than helpful, professional and willing to not only solve the problem but go above and behind to make sure their customers are happy and satisfied. They shown me the highest level of professionalism and this makes BMW of Barrington one of the best place where you want to buy and service your vehicle. More

Terrible customer service, no communiaiton! Arrived, no signs, no one greeted me Stood in wrong line for 15 minutes and then was told to go to the service office Once there was told there are Arrived, no signs, no one greeted me Stood in wrong line for 15 minutes and then was told to go to the service office Once there was told there are no loaners unless I want to wait 40 minutes As I prepared to leave I found I was blocked in and had to wait to move other cars out Asked for manager and then was told, wait maybe we can get a loaner from honda After another wait finally got my loaner car and left When I arrived home I found a text on my second cell phone that arrived after I had already left for your dealership telling me you had no loaners I was told it was 2 hours of work After 5 hours I called to find out if it was ready, I was told by Mark “it was Ready” and he had texted me, again to the wrong phone this time my home phone When I arrived finished paperwork and was told they are bringing it around After waiting 10 minutes I asked where it was, niraj told me that it was being washed and was scheduled for a 3 pm pickup. At that point it was 3:40 After 20 more minutes and being forced to ask again, I was told they were bringing it around and would skip the interior wash Ten minutes later still no car, I asked for the manager and Niraj went and got the car himself He explained to me that when a car is scheduled for pickup they still need 30 minutes and that they were very backed up I explained that I was told the car was ready, I shouldn’t have to wait another 30 minutes, just tell me to come 30 minutes later! Finally left after being at your dealership for over an hour simply to pick up my car, no waiting area, no seating, just standing by the door, no one asked if they could help, just walked by even though they know I was waiting, obviously for a long period of time More
