Sorry but I am not very good at this. If it wasn't for the the good salesman I would not complete this survey just because of this. If it wasn't for the the good salesman I would not complete this survey just because of this. More

I purchased a pickup from Luther GMC about a month ago, this is my first experience with this particular dealer. The buying process went as expected at a dealership (lowball trade, no room on the purcha this is my first experience with this particular dealer. The buying process went as expected at a dealership (lowball trade, no room on the purchase price of the vehicle I was interested in.). Upon inspecting the pickup at the dealer I found the tailgate latch was cracked, and bound to break completely this winter when the weather turns cold. I was told that it would cost the dealer too much money to replace it, so they took $200 off the purchase price of the vehicle (Wow, generous!). I did the deal, because it was the vehicle I was looking for, and shopping the used market, there is give and take. I have purchased vehicles (new and used) from different dealerships in the past, and they always wash and fill it up with fuel upon pick up of the vehicle. Luther GMC did have it washed, but no fill up. It's not about the money, it's the courtesy. They roll out the red carpet when you are a potential buyer, and yank it out from underneath you as soon as you sign off on a vehicle. After I brought the vehicle home, I gave it an inspection of my own. I noticed there was a chip in the windshield, so conveniently hidden behind the pricing sticker they removed after I purchased the vehicle. I checked the engine air filter, (clogged and needed replacement) and the cabin air filter, (also dirty and needed replacement.) The first rain shower, just days after purchase, the windshield wipers were junk as well, skipping and not wiping the windshield clean. So much for their 180 point inspection or whatever it is, doesn't mean a thing. Check your car when you bring it home, or take it to a shop you trust! After taking a 2 hour drive to visit family, I noticed the rear pinion seal leaking to the point of puddling after parking for just a few minutes. (Keeping in mind this pickup only has 37,500 miles on it.) I ended up taking it in to Luther Ford, where it would be repaired under warranty. I thought that after my buying experience at Luther GMC, it would be best to make a claim on the factory warranty. See photos for the old vs new filters I installed just 3 days after purchase. I will not be back to Luther GMC. More
