They don't take care of their loyal customers I'm a customer since 2009 and have purchased two vehicles at Toyota Marin. The most recent will be my last. I not only will never again purchase a CPO I'm a customer since 2009 and have purchased two vehicles at Toyota Marin. The most recent will be my last. I not only will never again purchase a CPO vehicle, but also will never again buy a car from Toyota Marin. The sale went OK. Martin Sumayan is a nice young man doing a good job. It was after Toyota had my money that the disappointment began. Two weeks after I bought the car--a CPO vehicle, mind you--the battery died and stranded me. Had to call for a jump-start. No problem, I thought. I just bought the car two weeks ago, and I have an awesome warranty that comes with all CPO vehicles, a warranty that I was assured over and over was amazing. Next time I need an oil change, I'll have them check the battery. Took it into my local dealership in San Bruno, and the rep there says sorry, the warranty doesn't cover the auxiliary battery, which is what needed replacing. It covers all batteries except that one. Really? So on top of the $550 worth of other maintenance work that wasn't covered by the warranty, I'll need to pay $300 for a new battery. I tell him that can't be the case. I just bought the car! The battery was obviously dying when it was sold to me. Of course the dealership will help me out, I thought. Called to speak to Martin, and after he checked with his manager, I was told no, they wouldn't pay a dime. Not one dime. I've spent $46,000+ at that dealership in the last 10 years, and they decided instead of keeping a loyal customer happy and doing what's fair, they were going to find a loophole in the warranty and save themselves $300. Even the rep at my dealership was shaking his head and wondering what Toyota Marin could be thinking. I paid about $4,000 more for a CPO vehicle than if I bought just a used one. That CPO certification doesn't mean much. When I first bought the car, I had three days to return it, and during that period I took the car to my uncle, a mechanic, who had a good look. He gave me evidence that the CPO inspection had been careless and incomplete. So beware if you think it's worth much. Then I come to find out that the warranty they were touting so highly has loopholes that they will use to deny you coverage. To top it off, when I asked for a manager to talk to about the issue, Martin gave me the number of Eric Truong, the GSM. Tried to get him on the phone so I could explain all this to him instead of writing this review. Never called me. I know he got the message. I guess I just wasn't important enough to warrant a call. And I'm done playing phone chase. So, Toyota Marin, for the amount of $300 you saved by refusing to cover the dying battery you sold me--a problem that left me stranded a mere two weeks after I bought the car--you've lost a customer. That was a bad calculation on your part. Like I said, $46,000 is what I've given you over the last decade. And if you looked after your CPO customers and treated that certification like it was worth a xxxx, I would have gladly turned to you the next time I buy a vehicle. Very disappointing. More

Brian Cho was super helpful and didn't make us feel like he was pressuring us to buy a car which i really appreciated! Brian also surprised me when I decided to go forward on a car because he did tell my husband and I that it was his first week. I honestly would have never guessed that it was his first week. Brian did an amazing job keeping his composure as a new salesman. Keep up the good work Brian! More

From the moment I walked into Toyota Marin, I was made to feel very comfortable. They asked a lot of questions to make sure all my needs were met. After the test drive, I was sold. But they encouraged me to take my time to make my decision. There are many places I could have gone to buy a car. I am so grateful I went to Toyota Marin More
