One of the best salesman I have ever met Marty Curry was so patient when we were looking around for cars. Marty took so much time to make sure we found a car that was in our price range and that was best suitable for a student. He was a friendly salesman who didn't push the buyer towards something but just listened to what they were looking for and offered suggestions to cars around the dealership. Buying a new car was actually enjoyable! We wandered into Zimmerman Honda on a lark. We had been down the road looking at another make of car we were interested in buying. We decided to st We wandered into Zimmerman Honda on a lark. We had been down the road looking at another make of car we were interested in buying. We decided to stop at "the Honda dealer" just to look around. We were greeted by Marty Curry who, in a very friendly and helpful way, guided us around the dealership, showing us any car that we wanted to look at. There were many. Marty was cheerful and efficient without any of the usual "I want to be your friend" chit-chat. We had fun looking at the different cars and walked away that day with a very good feeling about Marty, the dealership, and Honda. We basically forgot about the other makes of cars on our short list. We shopped around on the internet and came up with a price we were willing to pay -- a very good price, judging from all the information I could collect. I called Marty and told him the price he had to beat. Very cheerfully he said he'd get back to me. He called back in a very short time and gave me an incredible price on just the car we wanted. No upscale selling, no whining about how low the price would be, no hassles. Just, yes, we can do that. A day later we were back at Zimmerman Honda to try out the exact car we were buying. Marty had it ready to go for our approval. Again, no hassles, no substitutions, no hidden costs, no nothing but the car we wanted at the price we had tentatively agreed on. While we were going through the final sales paperwork Marty was attentive to our needs and desires -- everything from cookies and water to connecting our phones and walking us through the many electronic features of the car. It was all quite fun to work through this with him. This car buying experience had taken me to several auto dealerships. The experience at the others was too often a little too hard sell, a little too fake friendly. Zimmerman Honda left me with the feeling I was working with real people who were, in fact, interested in seeing me in the car that was best for us. Marty Curry was central to this feeling. He answered the questions we asked, he pointed out things he thought we might want to know about. He wasn't scripted. He was there to help. Yes, he was also there to sell cars, but his approach didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. In fact, we left the dealership with a wonderful new car, a smile on our faces, and the taste of oatmeal raisin cookies in our mouths. More
