Olivia has consistently been superb at handling service on my 2021 Tundra Platinum (at 25K miles currently) for numerous service intervals to date. She is very responsive, knowledgeable, and personable as on my 2021 Tundra Platinum (at 25K miles currently) for numerous service intervals to date. She is very responsive, knowledgeable, and personable as well as clear and concise, so you very much feel like you're in good hands with her. Olivia is superb at keeping me updated on service progress (I usually wait at the dealership), and her post-service follow-up is excellent! Olivia was out on the day of one of my service visits, so she put me in the very capable hands of Melanie Soriano, who expertly handled my visit that day. I prefer very early morning appointments, and every time I was greeted warmly by Dave Maich (Service Drive Manager) with whom I've enjoyed chatting each time. My most recent visit (25K) featured a nice video summary by Peter Mayberry (Service Technician) that was very informative and well-composed. Though I bought my Tundra new off the lot at another local SF Bay Area dealership, and though there are several other Toyota dealers that are closer to my home, the consistently excellent vehicle service experience at Toyota Sunnyvale continues to make the 40 mile drive worthwhile. I had a very good experience buying a car here. Took it here for the first dealer service. My interaction for a ride really left a bad taste in my mouth. Making the appointment I had said I would ne here for the first dealer service. My interaction for a ride really left a bad taste in my mouth. Making the appointment I had said I would need a ride. When I got there, I said I will need a ride. Service advisor said no problem, we will have you taken care of. After I finished with the advisor, paper work and all that, I said I need a ride and was told to go to the cash dept to ask for a ride. I went there, there were about 5 people behind desk, who all ignored me. I wrote my name down on a list. Still no attention so I asked if anyone can help with a ride. There were two ladies chatting away, they looked at me and said just write your name down. I said, I already did, when will I get a ride? One of the ladies said anywhere from 30-90 minutes. I said, I have to be somewhere in 45 minutes. She said sorry, the driver is not here. I asked when did the leave? I don't know. When will the driver be back? I don't know, all the time with a sign of irritation that I was interrupting. So, in this day of connectivity, they have no idea where the driver is, when he left, where all he left to drop people off, when he is likely to come back. Moreover it was the attitude of 'we don't care' that got to me. I would call this a bad planning, bad management, bad attitude. If I was the manager, I would get the driver to leave a note on when he is leaving, is likely to be back and what all towns he left for. Give the driver a trackable cellphone so that the counter folks can see where he is on his trip. Toyota service used to be not like this. I am rating all the people as 5* because I do not want to name names. The whole department from my service advisor to the cashier department was bad. More

I had the pleasure of working with Melanie and then Maria. Both were articulate, transparent about the needed work, and informative of the options available to me. They were team players in calmly and efficiently being problem solvers when another associate made a mistake which ended up leaving me without a vehicle. They both have an attention to detail that has allowed the work done on my vehicle to be accurate, timely, and of good quality. I can't say enough good about these two! More

He never pressured us into buying the vehicle and was very easy going. Sean was also great to work with when we were signing all our paperwork and he was able to answer all of our questions. Pathetic servicing First of all, sorry for writing this review very late(It all happened in month of Apr). The battery for my Toyota Camry which was bought 15 days ago First of all, sorry for writing this review very late(It all happened in month of Apr). The battery for my Toyota Camry which was bought 15 days ago from Toyota used car center in Sunnyvale, died. So I contacted service department of Toyota for jump start and a towing truck was sent. The whole day car was at service center but they didn’t check on it and in evening when I wanted to pick the vehicle, they said we will check and get back to me. Within 15 mins I got a call that car is not starting even with Jump start and needs a battery replacement. I was asked to get battery replaced as they can’t even run diagnostics(And quote was around $500) on dead battery. Since it was late in evening, I said no and then later I thought of trying my insurance company for jump start since from their act and behavior I was having a doubt if they even tried jump start(There were stories told that car was towed inside the center tried and then put back out side within 15-20 mins) That person from Road side assistance was able to jump start in one shot. He also diagnosed the health of battery and confirmed that its failing the test, in such scenario, battery start showing bad health in around 1 month in advance. So its very unlikely how was it not caught in 119 point inspection. I was amazed that how Toyota Sunnyvale main service center was not able to jump start the car and hence could not run diagnostics and asked me to leave the car for battery replacement. Clearly indicates they want to earn extra $500 dollars by battery replacement. Otherwise how can a person from road side assistance who was carrying a small jump start could easily start the car. Basically service center did not realize that their such action is going to put their own another department(Used car center) in mess. Later after many discussions, used car center agreed to change the battery but preferred to do at their cent rather at this location, may be even they don't prefer this service center. More

Nightmare turned lifesaver I had my car towed in and was in a bind. Simon Guzman was very unhelpful and would not give me the time of Day!
