He put on zero pressure, was genuine and honest. Usually the car buying experience can make you feel like there's smoke and mirrors going on...there was none of it. Terrible responsiveness. I am now on my fourth Subaru. (Yeah, I like Subaru.) My sales guy for the recent Outback was good, but the woman who'd sold me my first one, and my I am now on my fourth Subaru. (Yeah, I like Subaru.) My sales guy for the recent Outback was good, but the woman who'd sold me my first one, and my wife her two, threw some serious shade at me when I came in on the sales guy's day off and asked for some information about the car. I left without any help whatsoever. So my 2018 Outback Limited is nice, but the electronics & entertainment are buggy as all getout. At one point, after a phone call, the radio sound was only coming from one speaker. As I was on my way to the dealer, I let it continue, and demonstrated the issue to their "Outback Product Expert," Ava. Restarting the car fixed it (i.e. rebooting.) I asked her to report this, and get back to me with whether it was a known bug. I never heard from her again. (Ed. : If doing so was not her job, she should not have agreed to do it.) On November 4th, the car repeatedly failed to launch "Android Auto" as it otherwise does, so I called the dealer to find out if I was doing something wrong. They promised a callback "within 30 minutes," which I never received. On December 6th, my wife reported to me mid-evening that it was sitting in the garage (unattended and not running) making a weird noise. I recorded the noise and noted the location (under the rear axle) and sent the audio file to the service email on the 7th with an explanation, asking them to tell me what the sound was, and if it was a problem. I got no response, so on the 8th, I called, and spoke to a Mr. Hinkle, who asked me to send it to his email. I did so, and to date, have heard nothing back. ---- Update: Service called me and apologized, we set up an appointment, and they updated the software in my system (there were several known issues, two of which were those I'd complained about.) They also explained the noise I'd asked about. Sales, except for an aggressive and rather whiny email from the saleswoman I mentioned in my first paragraph, has not gotten back to me, weeks later. (Reminder - my own sales guy, Mike, was first-rate.) I've upgraded the review from two to three stars, at service's request, but only that far, since I had the problem in the first place, and because sales's response was so underwhelming. More

Crosstrek Combo We helped our son purchase his first ever new vehicle, a 2015 Crosstrek, three years ago and worked entirely through all the accessories and the trim We helped our son purchase his first ever new vehicle, a 2015 Crosstrek, three years ago and worked entirely through all the accessories and the trim selection process with sales rep Michael Frank. We felt comfortable with Frank as being knowledgeable, a straight shooter, that desired to cut to the chase, as we wanted - to make our buying decision a win-win for both parties. Michael hasn't changed, as we saved his business card, and we asked for him again last week to begin the search for a 2018 Crosstrek - for my wife and I. We didn't make it easy on him, because we had a budget in mind - and a color and set of options that it would be difficult to find a new Crosstrek locally - without a special order and putting us out 6 to 8 weeks to receive our "dream" sleek and sporty SUV. In two days, Mike called and said he may have the perfect fit for our demands. And that it was, the vehicle was driven in, prepped, and turned out everything what we had envisioned and hoped for. Kudos to Mike and Josh who handled our closing paperwork. A satisfying and wonderful SUV buying experience - as was the first with our son! More

Getting into a new Forester I have always considered going into a car dealership similar to an experience with your dentist. A necessary evil. It was also the first time I was I have always considered going into a car dealership similar to an experience with your dentist. A necessary evil. It was also the first time I was doing this on my own as I lost my husband this past year. My experience at Wilde however was totally different than I had anticipated. The salesperson Mike Frank who we had worked with before was patient and truly wanted to see me get into a new Forester and out of my current lease with the best possible terms. Mike who approved the deal was very friendly and Josh, the business manager was very cordial as well. I would recommend the team at Subaru to everyone. I also love the car! More
