Overall I thought the whole think went well. I don't think the final detail was done very well. I had suction cup marks on my windshield and there was dust on the interior surfaces that I had to I don't think the final detail was done very well. I also think we could have gotten a little more for our trade-in. More

I did not have a good experience with Corwin Toyota. When I arrived to see the vehicle it was still on a lift being worked on. Mike wanted me to purchase the vehicle without being able to look at it o When I arrived to see the vehicle it was still on a lift being worked on. Mike wanted me to purchase the vehicle without being able to look at it or drive it. I explained to him that he could work on the financing and take my information down and I would return the next day to drive and look at the vehicle. The next day I took the vehicle for a short drive, but didn’t really get a chance to look over the vehicle. I inquired about the financing and was assured there would be no problem getting the rate I told Mike, that I could get with my personal bank. Mike never really asked me if I liked the vehicle or wanted to purchase the vehicle. We signed the paperwork, including the paperwork that stated there were no cosmetic or other issues except for the normal wear and tear. I trusted Mike on this and assumed everything was in order considering the amount of money the dealership had put into the vehicle and on good faith. However when I got the vehicle home I noticed one of the fog lights was broken and totally missing from the socket, a control switch or button was missing from the dash and there was a large dent with a long narrow slice or hole above the passenger side rear fender. None of these things were pointed out to me or addressed on the paperwork. I don’t think these item fall under “normal wear and tear”. Mike looked right at the missing switch and said nothing to me about it. I sent Mike pictures via text, of two of the three items and asked for them to be addressed. I also spoke to a service manager I assume that was Robert Barrera, but I am not sure. I got several responses, but none f where satisfactory or addressed the issues. I heard a lot of excuses and passing the buck, but no solutions. Their responses where oh well, you signed the paperwork. In addition to these issues, there was an issue with the financing. When we did the financing the best rate Mark could get me was 9.22%. He assured me multiple times that I wouldn’t find a better rate or get a better rate. I took the financing and purchased the vehicle, although Mike had told me repeatedly I would get a rate around 7.0%. On the following Tuesday I checked with my bank and gave the loan officer the details of the vehicle purchase I was quoted a rate of. 6.99%. A rate Mark B. assured me I would never get on the vehicle. He said he could not get this rate because of the vehicle mileage. I have since refinanced and now have the lower rate on my loan. I could have avoid all this extra hassle if Mike would have gone his do diligence and told me about interest rate and I could have had my loan with my bank in place. In summation the damage to the vehicle was not reported to me properly nor was the loan handled properly. I didn’t ask for a lot, but I got nothing from the dealership. I wanted the light fixed, the missing button investigated, an acknowledgment that the salesman missed some things on the paperwork and an apology that the financing could of been handled better. Fixing the light would have made a huge difference in my opinion of the dealership and bought the dealership a lot of good will. I felt that it was a “rush” sales job done by people with little integrity and honesty. Corwin and your employees did nothing to make a good first impression. More
