Review for Jim Thomas Firstly, I've had this car since the end of August, and I've gotten over 10 emails asking me to "share my experience". I've held off due to the issues Firstly, I've had this car since the end of August, and I've gotten over 10 emails asking me to "share my experience". I've held off due to the issues I keep finding while driving my new vehicle that were not mentioned in the sale, and have tried to chill and chalk it up to a large loan that I got sucked into. 1. Jim Thomas was unfortunately my "salesman". He was anything but. He didn't listen to what I was asking him, or requesting in a new car, and I didn't know how to ask for another salesman without making it awkward. He continually interrupted both my boyfriend and me, completely ignoring our inquiries. I would let him finish talking, and ask again in case he didn't hear me....which didn't work. He showed me cars I didn't even ask about, and completely ignored me when I asked about used cars for purchase, until I walked over to it and pointed it out specifically (hour 3 - after telling me no, we don't sell used cars). 2. They ran my credit 5 times....FIVE. My credit score went down 21 points....why would you run it 5 times, especially without my OK??? At least ask! Everyone knows that running your credit, decreases your score. 3. Both salesmen (don't recall the other gentleman's name), seemed to want to just get me to buy something, and didn't take into consideration what I wanted, or what I was asking for. They kept revisiting the possibility of a different car, which I had already made clear, I did not want. They wouldn't back off of it - super annoying to have to continually say no for 4 hours. 4. Both salesmen "finally" found me a car that they could get me into that was most similar to my Prius 2015 and that worked with my current budget. They had me drive The Pruis c, which is nothing close to a full sized Pruis. Unfortunately, they made it seem like this was literally my only choice, and there wasn't any other options. We test drove it for a bit, and after a lot of prodding on their part, I felt like this was my only choice. I noticed that there wasn't a power mode, and that the car had 0 power, but it worked with my budget, so I let that go. What both Jim and the other guy failed to point out, is that not only is there no power mode, but there is NO cruise control which is a basic feature, NO back speakers (camouflaged to look like there are speakers - unless you ask - lame) and the car is a gutless wonder. They kept mentioning that the car "get's 54 miles to the gallon", which is a load of crap, because I have driven it normally, and even like a granny, and it doesn't get anywhere NEAR that. So far, the best mileage I've gotten was 41 mpg. (Where's the other 13 mpg?) 5. When I went to sign for the car, I was told that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY to return the car. I was told this by both the second salesman, and the man who wrote up the papers for the car sale in the back. However, when I went back to grab something from my old car that I forgot to take with me, I mentioned that I was missing my old car, and wasn't pleased with the one I had purchased the previous night. The second sales man from the night before told me completely different story that what he had the day before: "You're able to switch to a different car with a $500 charge, but you opted out of that, so there is no chance of returning it." If I was told the correct information to begin with, I would have opted in. 6. The person who wrote up the papers for the sale told us that if we give them a 9/10 on the review, they will automatically be flagged and get spoken to from the head of the dealership, so, "Make sure to give us a 10/10 on everything!" They would've gotten 10/10 if they had done their job correctly. Now I'm stuck with a gutless wonder for the next 5-7 years. Thanks Maita! I will never recommend you to friends in the area! More
