Took my Mazda3 in due to a Check Engine and AT light on the dash. Dropped the vehicle off at 830am, with guidance from the advisor to expect a call from the later that morning with an estimate. I did not receive that call, and when I texted for a follow up in the afternoon, was told they didn't have the necessary equipment to test my transmission and were unsure when they'd be able to do so. I heard nothing the next morning, so I called the customer care center and was told my advisor was out, but they would have another call within the hour. That did not happen, so I called back again and was unable to get anyone to answer the phone. I repeated this process a few more times, unable to get a answer before a different member of the customer care team finally picked up. She was unable to get a hold of any of the advisors why I was on hold, but stated she would make sure the service manager called me back right away. That never happened, but after several more calls to the extensions provided I was finally able to connect with a service advisor. He stated he had no update on my vehicle in the system, but if I was really that concerned about the lack of communication he could maybe go back into the shop and see if there was an update not registered in the computer. What a huge favor to ask after the runaround I'd be given up to this point. The actual service tech called me back about a half hour later and proceeded to explain how lucky I was that he was actually running the full diagnostics on my transmission since it was a lot of time and work for him to do so. He couldn't understand my frustration that the dealership didn't have the equipment to diagnose the transmission, as it wasn't his fault someone in the shop lost the equipment they needed. I was eventually provided an estimate for a full transmission replacement, with none of the other items I requested when I dropped the vehicle off quoted. I told the advisor that I was not interested in doing the work with them based on the communication issues and I would be in first thing the following morning to pick up my vehicle. I arrived at the dealership around 8:30 and was informed that my car was still in the shop and not ready for pickup. Thankfully it only took 15 minutes for someone to bring it around as I begrudgingly paid the diagnostic fee. The service advisor apologized and let me vent a bit, but I think he understood that there was nothing else to do at that point. I will not be returning to this dealership under any circumstances. Dealing with car issues is frustrating/stressful enough without these types of communication and service issues. I'm confused how the reviews are generally so positive, as it's always been so hectic and disorganized on my previous visits as well. I had previously just put up with it due to the convenience of this location compared to the other Mazda dealer, but I never would have said it was a great experience. Now I know it's worth the extra time and miles to go elsewhere. More

I came to Sport Mazda one week ago to service my 2018 CX5 and walked out with a 2021 Carbon Edition CX5! I instantly fell in love with it the moment I saw it in the showroom. I was hesitant about the idea of and walked out with a 2021 Carbon Edition CX5! I instantly fell in love with it the moment I saw it in the showroom. I was hesitant about the idea of getting another car especially when I was pleased with the one that I owned. Mayeline made the entire process pain free. She was very responsive to my concerns and my budget!!! She was extremely patient throughout the entire process of financing and walking me through the new and updated features of "My New Baby". KUDOS to Mayeline and the ENTIRE SERVICE STAFF of Sports Mazda! During every experience, you can always expect to be treated as a VIP. Their customer care is exceptional and I encourage anyone to become a part of the Sport Mazda family! More

Paul Claflin was the service department member that assisted me with my air bag safety recall. He was great and kept me informed of the progress on my vehicle.
