2014 GMC A/C known issue- refuses to provide a resolution I contacted this service department to inspect a known A/c concern . I advised Tim (a service employee) that I experienced an issue where I was dri I contacted this service department to inspect a known A/c concern . I advised Tim (a service employee) that I experienced an issue where I was driving and smelled what I believed was a chemical burning inside my truck. It was My A/C failling at 70,000 miles. I had the service department diagnose the issue, and they confirmed it is the condenser wouthout an explaination as to why the part faillled. The service department offered to repair the condenser for $1300. When I brought up that this failure is a known issue and when i wrote a negative reciew they offered to discount the repair by $300. I returned to this dealer 4/13 to have another set of recalls completed. Upon completion of the recalls I was asked to speak to Paul. He laid out that he does not like my review on Facebook and what could he do to get me to change my review. I was upset and attempted to explain my disappointment in the customer service I’ve received so far and the product I purchased. Paul is a predictor and was attempting to turn a known failure into a sale. He agreed that it’s a known issue in my meeting but still wanted me to pay for the repairs. When he realized I was not willing to pay he concluded he meeting promptly without attempting to resolve the issue. Issues with recall repairs also. 1) second trip for recalls that should have been completed the first trip because they knew I was coming in to have the recalls completed, but failed to have the parts available. 2) this trip was to have the seatbelt tensioner recall completed. The seatbelt tensioner recall was completed incorrectly. Upon leaving I adjusted my seat and heard a popping noise. I pulled over and the seat track was not secured properly. I returned and Tim took care of the seat. Paul and his staff provided poor quality work and is not an advocate of his brand nor his customers. I would not recommend buying products from GM or having any sort of interaction with this facility. More
