Tom was great and was very professional. I would not hesitate to do business again with Tom. The dealership has low inventory and did not have the car I wanted to buy for my daughter. I m I would not hesitate to do business again with Tom. The dealership has low inventory and did not have the car I wanted to buy for my daughter. I made a reasonable offer on a car with a higher trim level and was declined. Likewise, the sales manager would not get the car we wanted from another dealership. The sales manager wanted us to wait up to 6 weeks until the dealership received a car like we wanted from the factory. I was quoted a price for the car that would arrive in 4-6 weeks. I went to Jim Ellis Mazda with my daughter and bought a car just like she wanted for a price that was a great deal lower than the quoted price I received from Mazda of Roswell. The sales price at Jim Ellis was close to the price I offered at Mazda of Roswell that was rejected. Once I bought the car, I called Tom and Paula Thompson, both of whom I had been working with, to let them know I bought a new car elsewhere and they no longer needed to spend time or energy on me. Tom was very professional and made me feel good about our new Mazda. However, Paula was not so gracious and could use some additional training. Paula made me want to take both of our Mazdas, we already owned one, someplace else for regular service even though Mazda of Roswell is the closest Mazda dealership to where we live. Paula was angry that we bought a car at another dealership and did not hesitate to let me know. I tried to explain to her that Mazda of Roswell rejected my offer to purchase a new car and wouldn’t get the car we wanted transferred from another dealership. I don’t think she wanted to hear it even though I gave Mazda of Roswell every opportunity to sell us a car. Tom was great to work with, but Paula needs some training to be a better ambassador for Mazda of Roswell and the Mazda brand. I also found inventory to be lower and the prices to be higher at Mazda of Roswell than at other dealerships. More

While I have enjoyed driving my 2021 CX-5 and my interaction with Paula Thompson at Mazda of Roswell, the service department and their ability to provide "timely" customer service on the most basic interaction with Paula Thompson at Mazda of Roswell, the service department and their ability to provide "timely" customer service on the most basic level has proven IMPOSSIBLE. An Oil Change--we can schedule you for 3-weeks!?!?! 3-Weeks! Me: My car is burning oil at 10-months old. Mazda: We know the turbos are burning oil. Me: What's Mazda planning to do about it? Mazda: Don't know. I like my car but would NOT recommend this dealership at all to anyone! Shameful! More

I purchased a new car but the process was troubling on many fronts. I will share only one example-- I was asked to give $1000 deposit "to locate a car." I was later told they did not run my credit card as many fronts. I will share only one example-- I was asked to give $1000 deposit "to locate a car." I was later told they did not run my credit card as they found a car that was being delivered. I asked twice to confirm my credit card was not charged and told not to worry. The reason I asked twice is this charge did not show up in the settlement papers nor were any receipts provided. To my surprise when my credit card statement arrived-- there was that $1,000 charge to my account! After numerous phone calls, I did get this charged removed--- But, I must say this and other little finaglings has left a bad taste. More
