He was probably one of the best salespersons we ever dealt with. We originally when to another Honda dealer closer to our home (one that we had purchased at least 4 vehicles from) to purchase a car but the sales department and staff was horrible. So happy we decided to look around. we were so happy with Raj and our deal that we had our daughter go their the following week and she too did a lease transaction with them. Highly recommend them. More

Not a good experience at all! So, I drove out to Freehold yesterday looking for a used Accord ELX that was in stock. I had seen another one that day at another dealer, but did not So, I drove out to Freehold yesterday looking for a used Accord ELX that was in stock. I had seen another one that day at another dealer, but did not like the color. I met with Raj, drive the car and then we all started "the dance." It was the same car as I had seen in the other dealership, but a different color. I told them the price I had been given at the other dealership for a Certified Honda. They initially couldn't come to grips with the price I had, but they eventually agreed to have the car Honda Certified and also gave me the same trade in I had received. Then they gave me a price if about $398 for what they called "Gap" insurance. I asked them what it was for...they told me it would cover me in case my insurance didn't cover me if I was financing the car. I told them I would think that over and let them know today when I planned on coming.back for the car. Last night, I emailed Raj to go thru all the numbers that I had written down at the dealership because I wanted to make sure I had money in my account to cover the check I was going to write. I also checked online about Gap insurance and saw that: A. It's not mandatory and B. It's more suggested if you are leasing or financing the car. Raj emailed me back and told me that I was off by $1000. I called him, we went thru the numbers again , and he kept insisting I was wrong. It was really simple math-- 14 minus 9 is 5, not 6! He got his calculator out and finally agreed. So now today, I emailed them first thing and said I had done my research and decided bi did not want the Gap insurance. Raj said--- come, the car will be ready. I said ok, but I want the Gap out of the deal. He said they would not do it. I said, talk to Scott and tell him I don't want it. He said-- two different times," It's out of my hands". Finally Scott emailed and said that they never had said it was optional. I had written in my notes to check to see if I needed it and told him he had told me that. Scott then said, well, that's the price. He also said that he believed we were $600 apart and that he doubted that the price I gave him from the other dealership( where btw I have purchased 6-7 cars from) was a real price. Finally, I questioned why there was a $1450 Certification fee as well as a $795 prep fee. Wouldn't one fee cover the other? In the end, I walked away. Raj was obviously unable to do anything without Scott and Scott looked and sounded today overworked and overwhelmed. Once he started to question my price from the other dealership, I knew I was done. If you go there....beware and maybe try elsewhere. More

New Car Purchase at Honda at Freehold It was a great and pleasant experience to shop at Honda at Freehold dealership. We had reviewed other dealers as part of the car purchase process. I a It was a great and pleasant experience to shop at Honda at Freehold dealership. We had reviewed other dealers as part of the car purchase process. I am a great fan of Honda since 1995 and already have a car (Accord Sedan LX- 1998) and Honda Odyssey EX-L NAV 2004. As the car and van have started asking for more maintenance costs (due to normal wear and tear over the period), we (as a family) decided to go for another Honda car 2017 EX-L Accord Sedan. We called Rajendar Kang (aka RAJ K) and he was of great help for our visit and purchase. He showed us the cars based on our requirements and taste. We did couple of test drives on the road on US-9 highway to ensure we are buying the right car. The entire shopping process was completed within 1 hr 30 minutes and we were happy with our decision. Raj ensured the car was handed over to us after cleanup and carwash and all provided all supported documents He also explained the functionality of different gadgets (phone, bluetooth connectivity, audio, nav link, camera) to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend my friends and relatives in case they are planning to purchase a Honda car or Van in near future. More

The Dealer did it all! During the search for a mini-van, visited neighboring dealers and finally to Honda of Freehold. Our Sales Consultant was Mr. Rajinder Kang. He asked about the vehicle we were interested in and then patiently let us go through a list of over two dozen features we were looking for. He identified a specific model in stock that has all these features included with only one being an option. He then took up to an off-site lot to see this vehicle. We drove it back to the dealership. After we agreed this was the car we wanted, we discussed the options to pay for it. He gave us several options on purchase price and financing. We were asked to relax while he took care of all the paperwork. He explained everything we needed to sign and the reason. He was very professional and thorough. We then met with the financial contact to finalize the purchase. Again, he was friendly, thorough and explained options and our final agreement documentation. Then Mr. Kang went through the Odyssey in detail on how different features worked. He was very thorough and knowledgeable of the functions. Most of all, he was very patient to go over some functions that were unclear to us. As much as we like the Odyssey we chose, we really like working with Mr. Kang on getting the exact car we wanted and getting all the documentation completed. Then his willingness to explain every detail that we has questions on was perfect. We know we have a lot to learn about the newest innovations, but Rajinder got off to a great start. You knew his offer to answer any questions we have at any time was real and expressed true concern. Any pre-concern about the new car search and purchase were certainly alleviated. And Mr. Kang deserves most of that credit. More
