Although I live in Peabody and have always had my Mini Cooper serviced there, I decided to go to Boston because there service special and “Value Service” offerings could save me a significant amount of mo Cooper serviced there, I decided to go to Boston because there service special and “Value Service” offerings could save me a significant amount of money. I first called Peabody Mini to make them aware of the cost difference but they were not interested in matching the prices. I was told that their dealership is not participating in the “Value Service” program that is offered through MINI USA Corporation. My service advisor at Herb Chambers, Mark, was wonderful. He explained everything thoroughly and my car was ready when promised. I was also told that my filters, which I thought were due to be changed, looked fine! It’s the first time I ever had a car serviced that the cost was LESS than I was expecting! My only concern was the difficulty I had in getting to speak to a service advisor to make my appointment. Whoever handles the calls to obtain the initial information did a rather poor job. It was only after the general manager took the call that I was finally connected appropriately.I now have Mark’s direct contact information so that should no longer be an issue for me. I will definitely return for future service as long as their prices remain competitive. More

After 17 years as a customer of this MINI dealer, this is the first time I have had a less than excellent experience. Yes, we are in a weird time. But, some things shouldn’t be getting overlooked. I’ve let t the first time I have had a less than excellent experience. Yes, we are in a weird time. But, some things shouldn’t be getting overlooked. I’ve let the sales manager know that my new plug-in hybrid was not fully charged, the tires were grossly overinflated (over 48psi in one), and the pre delivery check had never been done, so I still have a warning light. The sales and finance staff provided misinformation about transferring plates (corrected by my insurance company). A sales person who brought me to my car seemed very rushed and was the only person without a mask. The sales manager has not provided the best communication. Am still, 24 hours later, waiting to hear how to deal with my error code. Love the service department. Always had good experiences with sales. Finance did okay but, please stop trying to up sell me on stuff. More
