My name is Ryan Kennedy, Service Advisor for Germain Honda of Dublin. I began in the automotive industry in July of 2006 here at Germain. I have held the positions of car porter, oil change expert and technician. I have worked hard to continually improve and increase my knowledge, so I can advance my position. To provide quality service I feel the two main components are honesty and respect. Being from Columbus I enjoy the downtown area. I’m a graduate of Thomas Worthington and attended Otterbein where I played basketball. I have a daughter Madison and enjoy our time spent together. When away from work I enjoy basketball, poker as well as my family time. If I were to be a superhero it would be my childhood favorite, Batman. My favorite vacation spot is in Nashville, I love the music. While visiting I would love to catch Kenny Chesney singing my favorite “There Goes My Life”. Always keeping my family in mind my favorite Honda is the Odyssey, it’s a good looking family vehicle.

At a previous visit, I was quoted in writing for a transmission flush and a 100,000-mile service. I mentioned that I believed the 100,000-mile service had already been completed at Marysville Honda, b transmission flush and a 100,000-mile service. Before scheduling the transmission flush, I obtained quotes from two other service centers to compare cost of services. Their pricing was similar, but I chose your dealership because it was closer. When I arrived for now just the transmission flush, I was told the original quote was incorrect and that the price would be significantly higher. After speaking with the manager, he slightly adjusted the price (even though now it was higher than my competing quotes, and I specifically confirmed that it was the total I would pay. At checkout, however, additional fees were added to the bill that were not disclosed in our conversation. Although the manager removed some of them after I questioned the bill, the experience left me disappointed. Between the incorrect information about my previous service, the unexpected price increase, and the undisclosed fees, I felt there was a lack of transparency throughout the process. The visit for an oil change was good. I asked for a tire rotation but they thought the best tires were on the back and should stay there.
