My 2022 Ford Ranger XL transaction from Toyota of Hollywood began on Wednesday, April 3rd. This 3 day long process was the most unprofessional, borderline-traumatic experience I have ever had in all Hollywood began on Wednesday, April 3rd. This 3 day long process was the most unprofessional, borderline-traumatic experience I have ever had in all of my adult purchases. In summary, I had to haggle the manager down to the listed internet price because sales representative Prince Chen pulled up some back of house portal that listed the vehicle at $37k MSRP despite its listing on the dealership website at $33,320. Later on, Prince "did not know" I needed insurance on my vehicle despite working there for 15 years. Then, financing manager Abraham Donaldson raised his voice and talked over me when he failed to ask how I was paying for the vehicle upon returning to his office on day 2. After I was approved through Chase for a loan, I spoke to 2 different Chase representatives on the phone who were both dumbfounded as to why he could not access/locate my application. When I asked for upper management due to the rising tension in the room, Abraham shooed them away as I was about to back out of the sale. Upon bringing the truck home, my mechanic friend revealed that the tires have uneven tread/wear, which explains the vibrations in high speeds. That means whoever previously owned the vehicle did not have them rotated. Prince had told me that they were NEW tires. Throughout our interactions with the sales rep, we were constantly interrupted by his buddies poking their heads in the room, to which Prince resorted to using profanities such as F*** as well as using the Lord's name in vain. As a Christian woman, the entire transgression of this sale was incredibly upsetting. I have sent a full-length review to Sophia Amore who has not responded after nearly a week. I am SHOCKED this dealership doesn't have more negative reviews... would NOT recommend. Nick Joyce from insurance was the only redeeming quality about this dealership. I even commented to him that I only wish our sales rep and financing manager were just as efficient. More
