Just purchased a car from Audi Rockville yesterday. It was not a pleasant or professional experience by any means. A huge disappointment for a luxury car dealership. I actually felt like they didn't It was not a pleasant or professional experience by any means. A huge disappointment for a luxury car dealership. I actually felt like they didn't want me to buy the car. I'm disgusted by the laziness and lack of respect for buyers I've experienced at car dealerships during my recent search. It's like as soon as the market shifted and cars were in demand, the service shifted...at least for me, as a Black woman. I watched them jump to help white men at almost all of the dealerships I've visited. The car that I purchased fit my criteria in terms of milage and the trim, so I went with it because the combination took a while to find. I saw similar cars at other dealerships but not the exact color I was looking for. But I was not afraid to walk away from the deal if I had to. I asked for the car to be detailed and it wasn't. It was washed but not detailed. I found coffee in the cup holder when I went to pick the car up. I asked for the computer to be updated many times but it wasn't when I went to pick it up then I was told I needed to make an appointment with the service department. I asked for the paperwork to be ready for me to sign when I returned to pick up the car but it wasn't. They lowballed me on my trade. Other dealerships offered me $1000 more. The day I went to see the car I showed up with all of my research and questions about the car in hand, and my salesperson acted as if it was a bother to answer questions and expressed zero interest in any type of negotiation at all...including some unwanted add-ons that I declined but were being forced on me, like low jack. He was greedy and unpleasant. I would not recommend this dealership. They are not customer centric at all, and once you've been sold, they're done. Dealerships like this destroy the brand. I'm afraid of having to deal with their service department after reading those reviews. More
