Easy process I'm an engineer so I typically do a lot of research before I purchase a vehicle so I know what I'm looking for before I show up to a dealer. In this case, I knew what I wanted, was pre-approved, and had already selected the vehicle on the lot that I wanted to see. Through a phone call and email I arranged to have the car brought to my place of work for a test drive. Tairon had all the paperwork ready for me when he got here (he knew that I was pressed for time). After the drive he took the car back and completed the paperwork. Called me when it was all ready for me to sign and came back to get me at work. The whole process could not have been simpler! It was a great experience and I get a really good deal! Unscrupulous Practices On 06/01/2016 at 10:30 a.m., I received a call from my salesman, Tairon, stating that an offer I had made on a 2003 Toyota Echo earlier that morning h On 06/01/2016 at 10:30 a.m., I received a call from my salesman, Tairon, stating that an offer I had made on a 2003 Toyota Echo earlier that morning had been accepted by the manager. I was ecstatic. I called Tairon back and arranged a time to be at the dealership that afternoon to pick up my car. An hour or so after that, I received another call from Tairon. I was on the phone, but he left me a message. The message stated that the Toyota Echo that my offer had been accepted on had been sold by another salesman. I could not believe what I heard. I called Tairon back to discuss what had happened and was told that since I didn't put any money down on the car, they did not have to hold it for me. I was not informed of that on the first phone conversation with Tairon. I got very angry and upset and hung up the phone. I then contacted the used car department manager and spoke to him about the situation. He basically informed me of the same. When I told him that I was not told that I needed to put money down on the car in order to hold it, I was told that the salesman knew better and that that the car being sold out from under me was "just how it goes." I was infuriated. I hung up the phone and broke into tears. I cannot believe how I was treated. It was wrong and no justification for it will make it right. More
