I am an immediate family member of a retired Ford employee of 34 years. As such, I make use of the discount afforded by the retirement package. When I arrive at the dealer, my intent is one of two th employee of 34 years. As such, I make use of the discount afforded by the retirement package. When I arrive at the dealer, my intent is one of two things: service for my existing vehicle, or to make a purchase. If I am making a purchase, I do my research beforehand and always come equipped to ask for what I want. If the variant of my chosen vehicle isn't available (which is typically the case) then I place an order to the factory. Unlike typical customers, I am patient, and I make sure to inform the sales person that 1) I am using a discount plan, and 2) my decision is final. Therefore, with the terms made plain and clear, it would be pretty difficult to ruin the purchase. In other words, the staff would have to deliberately drop the ball to earn an unfavorable rating. The people I met were polite and courteous, and I appreciated the check that was made for my out-of-state vehicle trade-in, saving me great suffering from the MVA. I also believe the terms of my financing were favorable. More

I had excellent car buying experience with Apple Ford Columbia. Starting with internet research, the Apple website provided accurate and detailed vehicle inventory. On site at the dealership, Ed Karn was Columbia. Starting with internet research, the Apple website provided accurate and detailed vehicle inventory. On site at the dealership, Ed Karn was an outstanding sales consultant. I appreciated his laid back approach and no pressure technique. He was very knowledgeable about the Ford Focus models that I was considering and made the test drive both pleasant and informative. I also worked with Scott Rippy, Theresa Volz, and Jamie Thomas to get my deal done and my car out the door. At every step of the way your sales, customer service, and finance team was friendly, courteous, and respecful of my time. My 2-year old daughter also really enjoyed the play area in your show room while we worked on the deal. Overall, I had an excellent experience with Apple Ford and will definitely be recommending your dealership to anyone in the market. Thanks, Dave Denis More

Met me on time and got down to business. Business-like when required, but friendly and informative. Met price and quickly arranged support package. Did not argue when options not required. I would definitely recommend Apple Ford for several reasons. I had done quite a bit of research on the Ford Explorer and the trade-in value of my car. When I spoke to my salesman and told him what I e reasons. I had done quite a bit of research on the Ford Explorer and the trade-in value of my car. When I spoke to my salesman and told him what I expected to get from my trade-in and my bottom line cost for the new vehicle, I was very pleasantly surprised that my figures were accommodated with a smile and with no haggling. Purchasing this vehicle was also a pleasant experience because everyone was so nice and extremely informative and helpful. Also, as of today, I called the parts department regardiung purchasing new rubber mats, but had to leave a message with Paul. To my surprise, he returned my call within about 15 minutes. That was great! I cannot wait to pick up my new truck. More

I bought a 1993 Ford F150 XLT from Apple Ford 15 yrs/ ago. I was treated very well then and when I was ready to buy a new truck I went back to Apple Ford. I did not forget how they treated me when I boug ago. I was treated very well then and when I was ready to buy a new truck I went back to Apple Ford. I did not forget how they treated me when I bought my first truck from them. In march this year I bought a new Ford F150 Lariat. I was once again treated very well throughout the purchasing process. My truck was ordered from the factory and it arrived without a scratch on it! I also had some aftermarket items put on it at the dealer , again without any hassles . I found the people I encountered to be down to earth people like myself . They understand the little things that can be annoying when buying a new vehicle and eliminate them making your buying experience pleasant. I had a no pressure friendly buying experience at Apple Ford and would recommend the dealership to anyone in the market for buying a new Ford. More

We only went to Apple to see a new color of fiesta that was hard to find, and did not intend to buy it there. We intended to use the AAA buying service instead. I told the salesman what I had seen price- was hard to find, and did not intend to buy it there. We intended to use the AAA buying service instead. I told the salesman what I had seen price-wise on AAA and what I wanted for the trade. He said, OK. I was pleasantly surprised. He then wrote up the sales agreement and tried to charge the $795 delivery charge twice, hoping that I did not know that the charge is already part of the MSRP and Invoice prices. I pointed this out and he had it corrected. I am skeptical that this was an honest oversight. We ordered the car and came back 2 months later. In fairness, we actually ordered one car and then changed our order and ordered another one. They were very nice about this. The purchase process took 4 hours. We waited a few times for different folks to be available. The Customer Service lady tried very hard to sell us rust-proofing and undercoating, using "today only" tactics like a free lojack system, but today only. The finance guy scribbled down warranty offerings without asking us any questions about what we wanted or how much we drive the car. He had no warranty detailed literature or information. His "time of purchase" price for the warranty (the one option he offered) was $2400, it is $2050 on the ford website, or less without the first day rental option. He also offered a great deal on a prepaid maintenance plan. It was over $2000, the most expensive I can find on the ford website now for my car is $1455. Again, no details about exactly what this plan covers. In the end we are happy with the car and the deal. This process has been a mixed bag and you always need to be very careful and research everything... More
