For starters, after finalizing the pap Recently purchased a 2018 Compass, having some mileage issues. I would NEVER return to this dealership!! For starters, after finalizing the paperwork to purchase my new car, I had to wait a week for the car to arrive. Which I had no issue with, but after being made aware the car was on the lot because I called the dealership. I decided to drive to the dealership to pick up my new car, that being said Connor was not there because I had not made him aware that I would be stopping by since I didn’t think his presence was needed since it was just a few signatures required on my end to finalize the transaction. Upon arriving to the dealership to pick up my new car, another car salesman (Leon) approached me to let me know that Connor was off and that they work off commission and would need to return at a later date to purchase my car. WORST CUSTOMER service!!! I responded with letting him know that all the paperwork was completed and that I wanted to see the car since it had just arrived. He walked me to see the car and had another gentleman take me for a test drive, that being said… He made sure to tell me that I should not to ask this gentleman any questions because apparently this gentleman didn’t know anything about cars and was slow in his eyes. I was shocked that he would even say that and let alone just throw me off to another sales person that wasn’t even part of JEEP. I test drove the car and had to come back the following day to pick up my vehicle because no was able to aid me finalizing the transaction. The next day, I went to purchase the vehicle and told Connor, that he did not need to be there since I drove the car and was ready to sign the final papers with the accounting team. Connor decided to go above and beyond and come in on his day off and make sure I would have a smooth transaction. That did not happen because clearly the accounting team at Criswell, do not seem to have their affairs in order. After signing papers and leaving, I thought the headache was over. I was mistaken; the car is not getting the mileage it was advertised to get! I reached out to the dealership and was given the run around and of course was told that the car needed to be “broken in” and that they would be following up with me to make sure the mileage got better or they would get me my old car. Well that did not happen because NO ONE FOLLOWED UP!! So Ashan just tried to smooth the situation over quickly and never followed up. I was only reached out to by the dealership because I put a poor review online. No one wanted to pay attention to my concern when I tried to calling the dealership multiple times and sent multiple emails. I kept getting forwarded to the manager’s voicemail who was out on vacation!!!! After posting the poor review online, I was reached out by Ashan and asked to give the car some time and that he promised to make it right. While being asked to give the car some time, I was asked to remove my post. They had no problem to reach out to bug me to sign paperwork regarding the missing title paperwork. I drove to the dealership to sign the paperwork they needed to process at the MVA. After signing that document, I was asked to come back the following week to sign a limited power of attorney to transfer the title. They wanted me to sign a blank document because they could not be bother their accounting team to fill out the details with the correct mileage on the vehicle. I was told that the accounting team is very particular and they did not want to mess the form up so they wanted me to sign a blank form. VERY SKETCHY!! At that time they mentioned that they would be following up regarding my concern about not getting proper mileage. Julius said he would be personally following up and making sure they got my car looked at. A week later, and no one has followed up!!! They just try to tell you want you want to hear and get you out the door! All of this should have been completed upon purchasing the car. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! More

Always the high pressure and feeling that you are being tricked. Not here at Criswell Jeep of Gaithersburg. It was a very pleasant experience, the sales Manager was extremely friendly, and really went out of his way to make things work. The Salesman and Finance Manager were great too. I would definitely come back here again for my next car. More

Best car buying experience!! Dealt with Theus in trading my Wrangler and buying new one. Had bought 3 vehicles from Crisswell before but this was the best experience I’ve ever had Dealt with Theus in trading my Wrangler and buying new one. Had bought 3 vehicles from Crisswell before but this was the best experience I’ve ever had. Theus was laid back, friendly and courteous. I really enjoyed Theus’ accessibility and responsiveness. Days before I bought my Jeep, Theus communicated with me via text even during his day off and after work hours. By the time I got to the dealership I felt he really understood my needs and wants and I feel the service I received was possivitely impacted as a result. Would definitely look to wit with Theus again in the future. More

Happy Ending. Dispite the fact that I had a less than joyful experance with the first salesman over the phone, I took a chance and drove over two hours to the deale Dispite the fact that I had a less than joyful experance with the first salesman over the phone, I took a chance and drove over two hours to the dealership to see if I would have a better experience in person. When I got there I explained that one of the salesman hadn't returned any of my calls over the past 3 days and that. I wanted a new salesman to make the deal. I was treated with kindness, respect and felt right at home. Our salesman was Leon Travis. Leon was very knowlegable of the new jeep Rubicon and showed us everything about the jeep. Julius Green, the sales manager and Thong Nguyen, finance manager were also great at helping with the pricing for our budjet. THANKS GUY'S More

The man is clearly an expert and an absolute professional, I cannot stress enough how fast, easy and pleasant the process was. I know for a fact I will be purchasing any and all vehicles from him in the future and will recommend him to anyone with 2 ears and a beating heart. With the exception of Julius who was friendly despite clear frustration at not being able to help, dealing with the rest of the team was a slow descent into hostility and a reluctance to make things easy. It began with attempting some high pressure sales BS when I was already committed to purchasing and trying to sell me an interest rate 4.5 points higher than what I had walked in with, after pulling the classic "Wait here..." for close to an hour, on a weekday before noon I was finally summoned to the back office to see Sam where I was offered the higher financing options despite being preapproved. As reprisal (there's no other reasonable explanation), upon pick up of the vehicle I was instructed by Thong Nguyen to complete the obligatory paperwork, it was late afternoon and I was pressed for time which I made known to the team with the hopes and assurances that they would accommodate me and when ready to go I got a "One more thing..." and made to secure insurance for the vehicle despite approval for financing and an existing policy that provided 72 hours of coverage and losing another 30-45 minutes in the process with my wife and kid in the parking lot waiting on me in case something were to go sideways which I half heartedly expected after some of the shenanigans they pulled. Just to recap: Leon is a human dynamo, I would go back to him in a heartbeat and you should definitely go see him. Julius was very nice. Sam and Thong where difficult and a bit hostile and if you can work with someone else you should. More

He was sensitive to my financial needs as well as my vehicle needs. Once again, Leon gets a 10 from me. This is the third Fiat I've purchased and the 1st from Criswell. He absolutely made sure he had all the facts before going forward with financing. Thong Nguyen was financially astute and brought my deal to financially acceptable levels. Great job. New Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited My wife and I had an amazingly positive experience at Criswell Jeep working with Leon and Julius. Leon was our salesman and Julius his manager. As par My wife and I had an amazingly positive experience at Criswell Jeep working with Leon and Julius. Leon was our salesman and Julius his manager. As part of my effort to find and buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I used the Navy Federal Credit Union Buying Program. Being from northern Virginia, I was initially disappointed that the only dealership identified was Criswell, which is located in Gaitherburg Maryland. I began my research by ignoring Criswell because I didn't want to drive to Maryland when there were four Jeep Dealers within 20 minutes of my home. But after getting the typical run around and non-committal responses from salesmen in VA, I decided to respond to Leon's very polite email offering to assist me. Leon is himself a vet and member of Navy Federal. Since my experience as a member and employee of Navy Federal has always been outstanding, I had to assume they would only work with Criswell Jeep if they too were outstanding. Well, they are! Leon was very responsive identifying vehicles that matched my preferences. But more importantly he sent me an email that listed MSRP, invoice, and all the savings I would enjoy buying through Criswell using the Navy Federal program. Leon also did something most dealerships won't do anymore. He gave me an "out the door" bottom line price, including taxes. Well, my wife and I decided to make the drive to Gaithersburg after work, which took about 45 minutes to an hour. Leon met us in the parking lot as we drove up; he was professional and gracious all at the same time. He had this amazing ability to make us feel welcomed and relaxed. We never felt any pressure. We went for a drive and decided to move up to the next highest level of Grand Cherokee from a Laredo or Altitude to the Limited. Because we forgot our check book, we asked to come back the following day, which was Leon's day off. Nevertheless, he came into work early to ensure the vehicle was ready, and the paperwork would go smoothly. He then returned to work around 7:00 PM when we said we'd come back. We arrived at 7:30 due to weather and traffic. The next hour or so was actually interesting, enlightening and fun. Leon explained all the features of our new vehicle and then we made small talk with his manager Julius as the paperwork was finalized. Bottom line: we never felt pressured; rather we felt like they were doing everything they could to get us a good deal, which the DID! The next time I have to buy a vehicle I will certainly return to Criswell. More
