Great Management I went to Joe Machens because they were the only dealership nearby that had the discontinued model vehicle I was looking for. I admit, I'm not a car dealer's favorite customer; I was looking for a low-priced used vehicle, and my credit is mediocre. Our salesman, Derek Streeter, was friendly enough, but he tried to offer me a very small amount for my trade in. He tried to tell me that "no one uses Kelley Blue Book values anymore", but once I mentioned that I had actually valued my trade on the Joe Machens website (which uses KBB values), he brought the price up. The rest of the purchase process was fine. Terry Bradshaw was very friendly and quick with the paperwork. About a week afterwards, I noticed the car was overheating. I had just received a follow-up email from Derek, so I replied to him and let him know what was going on. He ignored me. I waited almost a week and resent my email via the website instead of directly to Derek. I received a reply from General Manager Tom Stegeman, who offered to run a diagnostic check on the car. As the car had no remaining warranty, I was very happy with that offer. Not only did they diagnose my car, but they took it to the local Chevy dealership for a new radiator (and another part that I was unfamiliar with) and did not charge me anything. It would have cost me over $700, and for a car with no warranty, I was not expecting any help with the actual repair. The service department was also extremely friendly. While I was not pleased with my particular salesman, the "above and beyond" service I received from Tom and the service department more than made up for it. With that kind of management, I would definitely recommend Joe Machens Capital City to anyone. More

My wife and I was looking to replace a well used vehicle for ourselves and our granddaughters. We was looking at the used vehicles on the internet. From the moment we first came onto the dealership proper for ourselves and our granddaughters. We was looking at the used vehicles on the internet. From the moment we first came onto the dealership property; we was treated with great amount of respect and courtesey from all of the dealership staff especially Cody Byers (our salesman). In our opinion Cody went above and beyond his job in ensuring our buyng experience was the best possible; just simply, and incredible salseman to say the least. We did not buy the used vehicle that we was looking at on the internet; we bought a brand new 2104 Ford Escape. The buying experience was the best experience we have ever had at buying a new vehicle. Both Cody Byers and Tom Stegeman the general manager not only answered all of our questions relating to the car before the sale, but also went above and beyond to take care of us by staying late on two nights to accomadate us. We will be back to this dealership to buy from them in the future. More

We pulled into the dealership and was quickly greeted by Ryan Becker. We told him what we were looking for and that we had been to other dealerships. He immediately directed us to the vehicle we were looking for and within a few minutes after arriving at the dealership, we were test driving a new Ford Fusion. Upon our return, Ryan was waiting for us and took us to his office for a write-up. Tom Stegeman also came in to talk to us about our trade-in. Tom gave us what we were wanting for our truck as a trade-in. After the trade-in was approved, we were escorted into Terry Bradshaw's office for the financing paperwork. Everything went so smoothly and we were approved within a couple of minutes. Everyone we dealt with were very friendly, they answered all of our questions, and made the whole process very pleasant! More
