Seller's Comments

The 1969 Camaro is considered by many to be the best of the breed when it comes to GM's first-generation (1967-1969) F-Body cars, and by looking at this exceptional example, it is clear to see why so many enthusiasts are drawn to it. This stunning 1969 Camaro has had a restoration some years ago and has been beautifully maintained since. Built as a SS396 Tribute car, under the hood lurks a recently rebuilt big block 454 engine, complete with factory Winters aluminum intake manifold topped with a Holly Performance 4-barrel carburetor. Factory-style chrome valve covers and air cleaner on the detailed engine compartment complete the clean, period, all-business look under the hood. An aluminum radiator keeps this big block running cool. Power to the rear wheels is transferred through a Muncie M20 4-speed manual transmission shifted with a Hurst shifter with chrome shift ball. The interior is stock in appearance, with the exception of a set of aftermarket gauges under the dash to monitor the powerful big bock engine. Stopping power is aided by a set of factory front disc brakes.

All the classic Camaro styling ques are on this car, highlighted with a factory-style cowl hood, front air dam and rear spoiler. Additionally, the tail panel and grill are blacked out just as a factory SS396 car should be. SS396 badging completes the look of this big block tribute Camaro. The body panel fit and finish are excellent – consistent with the high-quality restoration and care this car has received over the years. The undercarriage is very clean as well, highlighted by a dual exhaust system that features a set of throaty-sounding Flowmaster mufflers. The Camaro rides on a set of 17"" Rev wheels that improve handling and help give this classic muscle car a little more attitude. If you have been looking for a great big block Camaro that looks and drives great, you have found it!
