Bret, I apologize if our service department did not meet your expectations. We strive to provide the best customer service to all of our customers before and after the sale. Without feedback from our customers we are not able to better improve our services here at the dealership. I have reached out to you several times to better understand where we can improve in our service department but I have been unable to get in contact with you or your wife. I did review our notes from service and did see that you did not need the camper until the weekend before Thanksgiving which we did have it completed in time as you requested. After reviewing the repair list your wife left on 9/29/17 I also did not see any reference for a winterization to be done on the camper. Temperatures did not drop low enough to be any danger of freezing while the camper was here and if we had any concern we would have called to recommended doing so. We will not perform any work without authorization from our customers. What was on the list was several items such as a loose cabinet, storage doors sticky and hard to open, loose screws and nails and replacing some knobs etc.. again no reference to the winterization. I would like to go over that list with you to ensure again that all of these issues were addressed. We are aware the LP gauge is still an outstanding item which did not come in time for your trip. As far as the duct tape, this was not a fix for the fabric in the wheel well but was to secure the fabric while the adhesive dried. It was forgotten to be removed after the adhering process and I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Bret, if our service department had been open when you picked up the camper we would have been more that happy to perform your winterization but feel it would have been unnecessary being you were leaving on your trip. When we reschedule I will be more than happy to do a winterization for you at no charge and if you need to get it done sooner in your area I would also be willing to pay for those expenses. I hope we can better serve you in the future and I hope you are enjoying your new RV.
