jGreat service from afar Had car towed from downtown DC by a towing company recommended by Tom Wimmer. The tow showed up on time and put up with security hassles of getting into a restricted parking garage. Tow went without a hitch, so to speak. Tow company delivered car to dealership and service department took it from there. Service Tech Nelson Pineda informed me of the estimate right away. Work commenced the following morning and car was ready by mid-day. They agreed to allow repaired car to remain on lot until weekend since my wife was traveling and we would need to drivers to retrieve car. Paid bill over the phone. All was good. Great service. At a dealership price, but well worth it! More

Purchased Two Used Cars We purchased two used cars at the same time from Stohlman Subaru (Sterling) in August 2017. We worked with Charles Nguyen (Sales) and Perry Dellagatta We purchased two used cars at the same time from Stohlman Subaru (Sterling) in August 2017. We worked with Charles Nguyen (Sales) and Perry Dellagatta (Finance). I found Charles and Perry to be fair and diligent and they honored all of the promises made to us during the transaction. Both were proactive in addressing some issues (mainly cosmetic) that we had with the cars. Since the cars are not Subaru products I cannot speak to the Service Operation of the dealership other than the facilities are modern and appear well organized. The only reason I'm rating the Dealership a 4 and not a 5 is the $695 'dealer reconditioning fee' that's included in the sales contract. This fee/practice is not uncommon or unique to Stohlman but it's disingenuous. Dealers can artificially lower the price of a car versus market average. And then the fee is 'sprung' on the consumer during signing. In our case we reached an out-the-door-price that was fair and again the Stohlman team were great to work with. More

He takes his own WRX to autocross events, so he is really familiar with all the Subaru engineering and driving characteristics. Some sales consultants would give you tons of pressure to make you buy the car from them and at certain price, but he clearly wasn't one of them. It took weeks for me to get my trade-in vehicle ready but there was no spamming at all. During the delivery of the new car, he explained every single feature of the car and gave me a brief lesson on how to drive manual. Everything was great. I was surprised to see that there was no review on dealer rater. More
