Buying a car is never a pleasant experience. While I was happy with the end result, I did not like trying to be sold all of the extras. When I pushed back, it did not seem to be acceptable. Lastly, a fee fo happy with the end result, I did not like trying to be sold all of the extras. When I pushed back, it did not seem to be acceptable. Lastly, a fee for vehicle theft was added and described as unwilling to remove. I have not picked up the car as it needed work. I hope it is done correctly. More
Nice place with friendly and knowledgeable sales people. They were a lot quicker during the usually painful negotiation process than the other dealerships we were also working with. Purchase of used 2011 toyota I traveled from Port Townsend to Bellevue (2 ferries etc. etc) to purchase a used Toyota for over $15,000. The salesperson was friendly and used his I traveled from Port Townsend to Bellevue (2 ferries etc. etc) to purchase a used Toyota for over $15,000. The salesperson was friendly and used his own $10.00 to put gas in the car for a good test drive experience. The actual purchase 'process' is where the experience fell apart for me. My points are: 1) Why not save time for all involved by stating up front, that the price on car gurus is the no haggle price? 2) Why wouldn't you provide a full tank of gas? 3) The battery in the car showed corrosion near the terminals. It would reflect goodwill and customer care to just replace the battery. Instead, there was a big show of having the service department test the battery & clean off the corrosion. This did not give me any peace of mind and made me doubt how 'well' the car had been checked over before I bought it. This compounded the poor experience and thus, I am hesitant to recommend this dealership. More
