Horrible Customer Service I went to Sweeney to purchase a new 2017 Cruze. Vera was the salesperson who initially seemed really nice. I took a test drive and instead of tellin I went to Sweeney to purchase a new 2017 Cruze. Vera was the salesperson who initially seemed really nice. I took a test drive and instead of telling me about the car and its features, Vera was too busy talking about herself. When I sat down to try to negotiate a sale, Vera never asked if I had a trade or cash available for a down payment. She came back with some numbers without an explanation of what they were or what incentives and rebates were included. I asked for a breakdown of what discounts and rebates were being applied and she seemed annoyed. I also mentioned I'd like to trade my current vehicle in and she seemed irritated that I didn't tell her that before she brought me the "deal" she was getting for me. She also complained that now she would have to go back to get new numbers and that there would probably be three or four other people ahead of her. Then she mentioned that she had another couple "that's been waiting". It just seemed to me that she didn't care at all about providing customer service and wanted to just rush me out the door while she profited from an unfair deal. She got up and explained that she would have my potential trade-in appraised while she took the other couple for a test drive. It seems like I did a lot of waiting and just didn't feel like Vera cared whether I was there or not. There was certainly no personal attention. When she finally came back, I about laughed at what they were offering for my vehicle. It was about $1000 under a trade value in kbb and 1/2 of what I ultimately got for trade at another local Chevy dealer where I did purchase the 2017 Cruze. I asked her if the offer for the trade-in was a joke and she told me, "cars are worth what they're worth". Well clearly mine was worth more and because Vera was a poor salesperson, made no attempt at customer satisfaction and seemed too distracted to close an easy sale, she lost my business. And Sweeney has lost my business forever. If you want a pleasant buying experience, this is NOT the place. More
