We looked at the cars that I was truly interested in, no B.S.-ing around. Then when it came down to the price, the dealership was real good about making sure that I drove off with the vehicle that I fell i B.S.-ing around. I was looking to lease a new Kia Optima. As a Simi Valley resident I was very focused on "Shopping Simi". I pretty much had the vehicle I wanted in mind, and First Kia had it in stock. My salesmen, Benjamin resident I was very focused on "Shopping Simi". I pretty much had the vehicle I wanted in mind, and First Kia had it in stock. My salesmen, Benjamin Villalpando, was a pleasure to deal with. He was quick to run back and forth from the Sales Manager while we negotiated a selling price, all the while keepong me informed. As it was a warm day he also made sure I had a cool drink in front of me. His professional demeanor, courtesy and personla touch was well received. There was at no time any frustration or confusion and the deal went amazingly smooth. I was in and out of the dealership within an hour or so, not bad! As I was by myself, he and and another associate took the time to drive my other car and the new Kia back to my home to make my day just that much better. I am very impressed, and would surely recommend First Kia and specifically Benjamin to anyone interested in obtaining a vehicle. Thanks guys, I love my new ride !! More
This is our 2nd purchase (lease) from Marlon at 1st Kia. Before coming here, I never thought the words "pleasant", "enjoyable" or "fun" could be used when describing the experience of purchasing a car. Marlon is simply the best - no pressure, no BS, no drama. He's thorough, knowledgeable, friendly & funny. While I'm partial to Marlon (since he has been my salesman on both cars), I can also say that we've enjoyed interacting with several of the other staff as well - Johnny Kia, Fazzie, Robyn (in service) & Mike (in finance) are all part of the awesomeness of this dealership. In the case of this latest purchase, I had several cars to choose from in the same price range as the Kia I wanted (and eventually got). Not only did the Kia seem to surpass every car in some way or another, so did the dealership. I leased my first Kia from Marlon in 2011 and brought the car to 1st Kia for service every time. The service department was always super polite, prompt & the prices were really no more than rolling the dice on an oil change from Jiffy Lube. When pondering whether or not I wanted to go with another brand, this was a serious factor for me - and at the end of the day, I wanted to stay with the dealership that I know & trust - 1st Kia!!! Marlon and Derrick are awesome! I made several trips to see if my 3 child car seats would fit, trying different car seats and combinations. Each time I went, Marlon and/or Derrick took care of my every nee see if my 3 child car seats would fit, trying different car seats and combinations. Each time I went, Marlon and/or Derrick took care of my every need and didn't hesitate to assist, even helping to put the car seats in the car. Once we had it figured out Marlon got the numbers done and we set up an appointment. Derrick took care of us on purchase day and everything was great. In and out in a couple of hours. One of the shortest and most efficient trips buying a car. I can't speak highly enough of their professionalism, passion for their job, and attention to detail These guys are top notch and I will send my family and friends there. More

He also recommended me to other people to get any features that were not offered with KIA. He took initiative and ordered some "extras" for me (touch up paint) without me even asking. I was very sad to have to give up my old KIA sorento, and I was very nervous in buying MY own first car. Marlon made the experience smooth and rewarding. He always emphasized that I needed to be comfortable with all aspects of the car so I would make the right decision. He was great, and I would recommend him to my friends and family! :) More
If I had to describe my experience with Michael and the people at 1st Kia in one word, it would have to be "Awesome". We primarily dealt with Michael Peters, who we found to be knowledgeable, helpful, jovi people at 1st Kia in one word, it would have to be "Awesome". He patiently answered all the questions my wife and I had and never made us feel pressured or rushed. The entire purchasing process was relatively quick and painless and the Finance Manager, Michael Nguyen, answered all our questions about the purchase with no problems. I waited a couple of weeks before rating this dealership because I wanted to see if they were just as helpful and friendly after the sale as they were prior to the sale. My wife and I have called Michael Peters and/or one of the other staff several times after the purchase with random questions about her car and I can say that they are just as helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly without any reservations. More
