We looked into three manufacturer's offerings during this search – VW Sportswagen, Subaru Impreza Wagon, and the Mazda3. They all excelled in one area or another. The VW had the most room, the Subaru had AWD, and the Mazda had the best gas mileage, but these were only some of the factors under consideration. We also wanted the dealer to be close and we wanted the dealer, namely the salesperson, not to be pushy, be considerate of our needs and willing to go the extra mile for us, even though we weren't looking at the top-of-the-line vehicles. Without maligning the other dealers, I have to say that Elliot Hersh was far and away the best of the three. He understood what we were after and even made a recommendation we hadn't considered in order to keep the price down (which we ended up taking). He was also understand of my wife's schedule and time limitations. Lannan also matched the price we found at another dealer as well as finding the color we wanted. Yes, we had to be firm to get them to find the car outside of their inventory, but I don't expect any other dealer to be different. Once they knew we were serious about our purchasing a car from them, they made the effort and obtained the exact car at the exact price we wanted. Elliot was on top of the process the whole way. He kept us informed via email and phone and made himself available for questions, even outside of the dealership and showroom hours. I think he may have been the only salesman I've met who I wanted to sell me a car. Thanks, Elliot and Lannan Mazda. You've got a new customer. More

On the day of getting my car, he sat down with me and went through everything I could have possibly needed to ask, going through where I should look in the manual and going over what all the buttons in the car did, etc. He seems to love his job and that makes the whole experience better. A friend recommended Lannan Mazda very highly so I scheduled a test drive. I met with Blaine and he showed me around the CX-5. He was very patient and helpful and made sure I knew nearly everything about the car before I even got in it. Both he and Barbara were very clear, accommodating, and kind throughout the entire process.
