Hi Elaine, I will pass this onto the service manager Steve so he's aware. We are supposed to let our customers know what we know regarding regular maintenance and how it affects your warranty. It must be the way they are communicating the message that's the issue and THAT we can fix. Thanks for letting us know that. We hate to think of anyone being made uncomfortable. Hi Gennifer! You're absolutely right - laying off our only mechanic that works on electric cars was not a good move, however, there are union rules that we must follow. The rules don't take that into consideration. The good news is, our specialty mechanic is back! His name is Scott and he has won lots of awards of greatness from Nissan because he does such a great job so please consider coming back to us next time you need something done on your Leaf. Liz
