I email the dealership to confirm that the vehicle I was interested in was still there, and I spoke with Oscar,who informed me that it in fact was still available. He even took the time to check on the car for dents and scratches and called me back after. I ended up purchasing the vehicle I was interested in, for a price that I was comfortable with. No hassles. They even detailed clean the car for you. The best part is, Oscar even asked me to bring it back if I think is not cleaned enough. Great guy, understanding and hard working. There ARE Still Decent Car Salesmen Out There I hated the thought of buying a new (used) car. The haggling, the pressure to buy, the pressure to add extended warranties, the poor financing option I hated the thought of buying a new (used) car. The haggling, the pressure to buy, the pressure to add extended warranties, the poor financing options, etc. Oscar made the entire process so painless, I found myself constantly waiting for the GOTCHA. It simply never happened. We were shown the vehicles we wanted, drove what we wanted, and received the amount we wanted on trade in. ALM printed off their offer agreement, clearly delineating all charges in a simple, easy to understand form. This never changed from the time Oscar presented it to me to the time I finished signing paperwork (unlike past experiences where several charges were added during the perior between discussions with the sales person and meeting with the finance manager). No pressure by the finance manager to add warranties (they offered but easily took No for an answer), no ridiculous dealer add on fees, and the financing only took a few minutes, once we got into the manager's office. The SUV we purchased was a very recent trade and they hadn't had a chance to do standard detailing or maintenance yet. There was also an issue with taxes owed by the prior owner that the dealer had to clean up. We purchased on a Saturday, and Oscar offered for my wife to drop the SUV by on Monday, he took her to work, they performed the promised maintenance, and he brought the car back to her with the temporary tag (meaning they had taken care of the back taxes). This was a truly painless experience and we appreciate Oscar and ALM very much. No xx, simple explanations, a quality vehicle, and follow through on promises. What more can anyone realistically ask for in a car purchase? More
