Shady experience I was working with them on the purchase of a 2005 vehicle with 170,000 miles. We were close enough in price that I knew we would come to an agreement. I wanted to have it checked out at an independent shop prior to buying. I think that is a reasonable request, especially since the car is high mileage. The manager said no, their inspection is good enough. What dealer won't let you have a used car inspected prior to buying? I will not return. More
