"Sales is great. Service is NOT."

I brought my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance in June 2018. While it was there, I asked if they could look for fluid leaks since I noticed an oily spot in my garage under the vehicle. I also inquired into re-adhering a couple of the characters on the rear emblem that were inadvertently damaged by me. There were some problems: The mileage was incorrect on the paperwork, off by a factor of 10. The price was incorrect on the paperwork, (should have been free). When I questioned the price and mileage, I was automatically assumed to be incorrect instead of the paperwork. When I explained the status, the service writer didn't believe me. Shuttle pickup was three hours early. This is NOT due to the shuttle driver. I saw the service writer write the incorrect time on the paperwork. I even thought it seemed strange, but didn't question it since it might have been an internal protocol to have the vehicle ready three hours early. It was suggested that the fluid leak was air-conditioning drain water instead of the obvious oil that's on my garage floor. The service writer threw the free cafeteria voucher in the trash without offering it to me, then when I asked about it he dismissed my concern stating that I wouldn't have time. I was quoted a price of $500 for the rear emblem. I instead ordered it online from a different dealer on the same day for $58. And more general items: Never received notification of rewards program with the Highlander or 4Runner purchase. XM radio trial wasn't activated in a timely manner with the purchase of the 4Runner, but the expiration of the free trial executed on time. Finance guy (Joe) was very pushy and rude. Signed me up for extended warranty without final confirmation. When I raised these concerns with the service manager, I was told that they would be in contact with me. That was over two weeks ago.

"Alex Wheaton is the best sales person ever!!"

Friends recommended this dealership and Alex Wheaton so we contacted him and he got back to us right away, super responsive not pushy or high pressure and he listens and works with you and for you! We bought our Rav4 from Alex in 2016 and almost a year later our Toyota Tacoma. We would never go anywhere else. First time in years of buying cars that we felt like we got a good deal and got to work with someone that we totally trust. We go there for service and he makes a point of looking for us to say hello and make sure we are happy, the dealership is great and Alex is the best.

Acton Toyota has a clean and orderly shop and it is staffed with knowledgeable certified technicians. I always get the service I need and insight to what needs to be done in the future. The sales staff (Alex Wheaton) always goes out of his way to help and satisfy my needs. The complementary lunch/breakfast is of high quality and is appreciated.

"Overcharged "

I went to Acton Toyota to get an oil and oil filter change. I specifically told the service agent I only wanted that. He said okay, they would change the oil and filter. When I received the bill they had done the oil change, but changed the air filter and cabin filter too, at a cost of $45 each! I did not authorize this and was shocked to see the bill reach almost $200 when all I wanted was an oil change. I believe they took advantage of me because I am a woman. I will never recommend this dealership or service center to anyone I know, nor will I go here again for their services. I have been here many times before and have worked with a different service agent and never had a problem. Extremely disappointed in the service I received.

"Rude Customer Service Rep"

I called on 9/16/16 and requested an oil change. I was told to come in around 3:30-4:00. I arrived at 3:45 and an older employee in the drop off bay typed my name in the service computer. When I entered the waiting area there were no seats so I went into the inner waiting area. About 40 minutes later, when I assumed my oil change would be complete, I walked back to the service area. My name was gone from the screen and I sat for 20 more minutes. Finally a service employee came out and called for my husband. My name had been dropped from the service list and my car had been sitting all this time, yet to be serviced. I was upset and said I assumed it would be next in. Mr. Eric Moeller let me know very sarcastically that I would be out in about 45 minutes. He said oil changes typically take 1 1/2 hours. I always schedule a drive in and wait oil change and in my experience they take no more than half and hour. I had to wait another 45-50 minutes. I left Acton Toyota from a 3:45 appointment at 5:45. VERY POOR SERVICE AND RUDE EMPLOYEE!!!!

"An extraordinary representative"

I've been dealing with Acton Toyota for quite a few years. Never in all that time have I ever been treated with anything but professionalism, courtesy and respect. My family has purchased a number of automobiles in the last 10 years and continue to have them serviced here; even though it's about a 190 mile round trip to where we now live. In all of those years I have continued to be amazed at the quality of staff Acton Toyota has been able to attract and keep. Wellington Pereira fits that bill in every respect. I called yesterday afternoon to ask a question and now only did Wellington research it but also had a solution available and scheduled the necessary upholstery work for the vehicles next scheduled service date. In addition he went far beyond his working hours to help me get this problem resolved. He is without a doubt an outstanding representative of Acton Toyota, but more so a direct credit to Bob Moran and Glen Hoffman and quality of people they bring on board to make customers want continue to do business with this team.

"10,000 mile service"

The service was quick and professional. The appointment was scheduled for 3:45 and I arrived 15 minutes early and let them know that I needed to be at work down the street at 5:00. The attendant said no problem and I was out by 4:45. Great job by all!

"Excellent experience w/ Dan Sweeney, Assistant Service Mngr"

I had a battery replaced at Acton Toyota of Littleton, specifically June 22, 2016. I had an excellent experience at this dealership, the service department, in which Dan Sweeney [assistant service manager] was the service advisor. This is the third time that I’m having the battery replaced with Toyota TruStart Battery. I added that part to highlight how well Acton Toyota handled the situation versus another dealership. On June 21, 2016 my car died and I had the car jumped. On June 22, 2016 when the car failed to start again, I had it jumped and drove to Acton Toyota of Littleton. I arrived at 6am, 1-hour before they opened but the service department valets took my car and offered me a seat in the waiting area, which was extremely kind of them. They probably won't ever forget me because I accidentally set the alarm off when I went through the service area because I was confused - I thought that they were open. The valets stated that they don’t open until 7am, and when I put my name into their service computer database, Mr. Sweeney approached me immediately, stating that he can get the ticket started but that the car wouldn’t be serviced until they opened. When I mentioned to him that a service guy stated that he wanted to do the battery job, he stated professionally that the particular person who offered was not a certified technician and that the service on the car needed a certified technician due to two other issues in addition to the battery. The service was completed within a reasonable amount of time and Mr. Sweeney was professional and very communicative about the issues with the car, as well as giving informative information about the battery and the oil consumption test. I will have to go back to have them re-test the oil change consumption because I went too early.
