I had spoken with Valerie, who was so helpful, regarding an appraisal to see what I could do to get a new car. Brent Gilliland sat down with me and I told him what I was able to afford, which wasn't a lot, and he was brilliant. He found a 2015 Equinox that was perfect and I was able to lease it for not much more than I was already paying for a used 2010! It was a great experience, and I don't say that lightly, since I know how high pressure some of these sales pitches can be. It was a great experience and I am very happy with my brand new baby! More

My interest rates were outrageous with the vehicles that I had. I mean like 19% and 24.5%. Crazy right? Well Maurice Redeaux REALLY hooked me up! My new interest rates are now both under 7% and Im not spending any more than I was spending for a 2014 (which I only had 4 months) and a 2008 (which was screwing me) than I am for 2 2015's. Service Fail I recently ended up at Advantage Chevrolet while taking my daughter back to college in Indiana. The voltage on my 2012 Avalanche had dropped significa I recently ended up at Advantage Chevrolet while taking my daughter back to college in Indiana. The voltage on my 2012 Avalanche had dropped significantly. It had done this the day before too and the truck had begun running rough. I thought it might be my high output alternator acting up, so I had my original factory alternator put back in. That was when it acted up near Advantage. I told them what was going on. They told me it would be about 5 hours before someone could look at it, but they were going to put one of their good electrical techs on it. I ended up leaving the truck there and continued onto Indiana in another one of my vehicles. After 24 hours of my vehicle being in their shop I was told that it was my alternator. They put in a high output GM alternator into my truck at the cost of $720.91. I picked up my truck the next day and took it home. Within a couple of days I was once again losing voltage. I took it and had the battery checked. It tested at 65%. I replaced the battery, and I have had no issues since. It appears based on their paperwork that the battery was never tested. Based on the status of the battery it also seems that my alternator was not the issue which was confirmed when they told me that my factory alternator tested fine. I contacted their Service Manager Len Paluch to discuss my service. Two days later I received a call from a gentleman named Jim. I am assuming he was from service. He apologized about the issues with my truck and was happy to hear that I got "the Gremlins out of my truck." He also said that they should have checked my battery and speculated that maybe there was something wrong with their testing equipment, but that is as far as he went. At no point in time did he offer to refund all or even a portion of this unneeded part. I have been informed that there are systems in place for situations like this where GM can cover things like this under some warranty when their dealerships drop the ball. I mentioned this to Jim and pretty much got no response. I am annoyed that they aren't stepping up to take care of this repair. I am also angry that their Service Manager, Len Paluch, didn't think my complaint was important enough for him to call me back. I will continue to pursue this complaint with GM. Very disappointed in this dealership as a long time Chevrolet owner. More
