Formal Complaint Regarding Recurring Steering Issue and Unnecessary Service Charges ?I am writing to report a persistent issue with my leased IONIQ 5. Since the very beginning of the lease, I noticed that Unnecessary Service Charges ?I am writing to report a persistent issue with my leased IONIQ 5. Since the very beginning of the lease, I noticed that the steering wheel gradually drifts to the right when driving at low speeds. I recorded a video of this and immediately shared it with my sales representative, who advised me to book a service appointment. ?As I am not an automotive expert, I assumed this was an alignment issue. I scheduled an appointment for October 9, 2025, specifically for an alignment check. Before that date, I also reported a minor collision that occurred while reversing out of my garage and requested bodywork repairs at the same time. ?However, after receiving the vehicle back, the low-speed steering drift persisted. While it wasn't noticeable at higher speeds, the issue didn't feel fixed at all. At the time, I thought perhaps it was just because the car was new and might resolve itself with more driving. ?On May 1, 2026, I revisited the service center and stated the following: ?The steering wheel has been drifting to the right since day one. ?When I asked the technician if this was an alignment issue, he agreed that it sounded like one. This led me to believe the problem would be resolved through an alignment service. ?I paid for the repair, but the issue remained. When I questioned why it wasn't fixed, the manager informed me that this specific issue cannot be resolved this way and 'is absolutely not an alignment problem.'
