I went in to Advantage Hyundai and I was immediately greeted by Mike as I walked in. I had tried to trade in my personal car 3 seperate times but was offered basically nothing for my trade as I was dyi greeted by Mike as I walked in. I had tried to trade in my personal car 3 seperate times but was offered basically nothing for my trade as I was dying to get out of the car into a used Sonata. Mike was actually able to show me the car I saw online to look for but actually showed me a Sonata turbo with much less miles and was less then the original Sonata. From the second I walked in and left I felt like I always taken care of, I was able to negotiate to what worked for me and was able to get out of my loan into a practically brand new Sonata. I had previously went to a different Hyundai dealership( to be nameless) and the sales manager told me I had only one real option and that somebody else was looking at that same car so If i wanted to do that, I would have to buy it right then and there. Buying a car, should be done on the customeer's time, not the dealership's time. If you need to get a new car, see Mike, he will take care of you I hope I do not need to buy a new Sonata but If I do need to buy another, I will drive 35 minutes again to go to Advantage. More
I went in looking for a used car and to my surprise I found a decent priced hyundai. Brandon helped me but was way too pushy. Not only was he pushy he was rude. You could tell he wanted the car sold just for the satisfaction for himself instead of the satisfaction of the customer, me. He kept telling me someone else is looking to drive it off the lot but actually when I came back 3 days later the car was STILL there. He negotiated nothing with me and two weeks later I pulled the deposit from the car. My mother has had a bad experience there as well. I DO NOT recommend Advantage Hyundai. If you're looking for a good hyundai dealership try Millennium hyundai just 20 minutes away from Advantage in Hempstead. More
We recently leased a 2012 Sonata for Advantage Hyundai in Hicksville. This is my third Hyundai purchase. Two of which were purchased with the help of Steve Toomey. Whether it was helping us setup a last minute service appointment (and providing us with a loaner) to just random questions about the car in general Steve Toomey was always there for us. I would recommend Steve Toomey to anyone considering a Hyundai. Ask for Steve Toomey and you will not be doesn't appointed in the service you receive. More
This is the second car we bought from these folks. After the first experience we had I knew as soon as I decided to replace my old car I would call Advantage. My original sales associate was in teh new section so he introduced me to his friend in pre owned. Steve and Dave, teh manager couldn't have been more helpful. Theuy worked to get me teh car that I eeded that fit my budget and extended every courtesy. When it came time to talk to the Finance Manager it was like being with an old friend. Bobby took care of us ( and I mean he took care of us like family) the first time we leased our new car and again this time. It was the like visiting a friend. We chatted, he made the procedure painless and he looked out for our needs. There was a minor blemish on the Used car we bought - I wouldn't have said a thing but when my wife pointed it out they offered to have teh dent removed and the entire section repainted- way beyond what 'needed' to be done. The day after I got the car home I got the call for the paint appointment I've been in retail for 45 years and as far as customer service this dealership has it all over the competition. I plan on continuing to recomend Advantage and I will be back when I need another vehicle More

The guys in sales were all great! My salesman Jim Sweeney was low pressure and helped me find the Elantra I wanted (that no other dealer had). Have driven a Jeep Grand Cherokee for years, never thought I'd buy anything else. Had been looking at SUVs for about 2 months, decided to check out Hyundai. So glad I did. Walked on lot and was immediately greeted by Brandon, cheerful, polite, not pushy or overbearing. Gave him my list of "musts", low mileage, power seats, AWD...no problem. Walked lot with me and there it was, 2012 Santa Fe less then 4,000 miles, leather, heated power seats....OK, test drive. Let me say, I had test drove Nissans, and Toyotas and was not impressed...I like a more positive response steering, let me tell you I was really happy withe the Santa Fe, nice tight turn radius, quick handling, 6 cylinder so can get up and go. Brandon helped get me the deal I wanted and got it all done without my husband being there. Treated me with respect and lets face it, when it comes to cars alot of places want to talk to the man... Went back next day to close the deal, Marty in finance was great, paper work done in record time. Should mention, nicest waiting area I have seen in years. It was April 30th and the place was busy for 7:30 at night. Took car back on the car back Thursday ,left it to have remote start installed, pulled in to Service and Pete appeared in a heart beat, no waiting. Tom in finance signed off work order, again no waiting, back to service, Vinnie got it all logged in and kept in touch the next day so I knew exactly what time to be back to pick up. I am not a push over, tough negotiator, and hard to please. I am one happy customer ! More
