Made an appointment to see a used Kia Sorento, but it didn't matter because we never spoke to the person who made the appointment. The first salesperson to greet us took us to his desk. About 15 minutes didn't matter because we never spoke to the person who made the appointment. The first salesperson to greet us took us to his desk. About 15 minutes after we arrived, while we were looking at the Sorento, I received a text from Advantage asking if I had made it to the appointment. Lack of internal communication? Advantage has a great area to look at vehicles during inclement weather. The salesperson was definitely not supportive of the Sorento. True to brand loyalty, the salesperson kept attempting to up-sell Toyotas, including mini-vans which were completely off the table, and was very unhappy when the Highlander got a "meh" reaction, even though it was $15k over the stated budget. The most negative interaction was when the salesperson said to not use the car seat base, because the car seat and base couldn't fit directly behind a 6'2" driver. This came after the car seat and base didn't fit behind the tall driver in both the Sorento and Highlander. This visit was mostly to fit car seats in the Sorento, and any other SUV available, which was accomplished. More
Service advisor Juan and technician Martin provided excellent service. My routine service was taken care of and my two issues were resolved efficiently. I went to the dealership to look at a used car, that was advertised on their website for $48,473. After taking a test drive I said how much will the car cost. When I asked what about the advertised price on their website which you can see in the picture, the sales man named Derrick Gordon (stay away from him) said we are charging you $1999 for detailing and another $4999 for paint refinish. I said to him I do not want either of those two options. He said I cannot allow that. So be very careful with this dealership they are big into "Bait & Switch" tactics. I am calling the Illinois Attorney General tomorrow to see if this is legal. More
Service is absolutely awful. Did work that I didn’t authorize and still charged me for it. Told me my car would be done same day had to bring it back another day.
