Bad experience. I bought a "clean" 2009 Nissan Rogue for $6700. I told him several times my budget was $6000. He talked me into this vehicle because it was so "clea I bought a "clean" 2009 Nissan Rogue for $6700. I told him several times my budget was $6000. He talked me into this vehicle because it was so "clean". Mechanic told me it needed $3500 worth of work. I brought it back to Honda and they scoffed, explaining that it only needed $1400 worth of repairs. That wasn't really in my budget, but I got what I got. Update: I got enough work done on it to make it driveable for about $1000... family price. He said the Transmission had almost no fluid in it when I brought it to him. It was leaking very badly. The axle seal where the axle goes into the transmission was mostly insignificant and and needed to be replaced, along with an axle, a few lug nuts that were the wrong size, the brakes, and the valve cover gasket. In all probability, that gasket became completely worn out and insignificant on the way to my house (14 miles) or someone had filled up the transmission fluid the day I bought the car. In addition to that, about a month ago, I realized the rubber floor mats that came with my car were actually meant for a completely different car. Someone has taken a razor blade and cut them down to fit in my car. I don't actually have any floor mats that are made for my car. So now the transmission went out today, about 2 months after purchase. I don't have a car anymore. I sent an email to Levi, the gentleman that sold me the car. He called me back and asked me to bring it in. Still the same old Levi, cordial and nice. He had a car read for me to look at when I got there, but unfortunately it was a domestic car. I also noticed it was a $12,000 car. Mine cost $5,500. I declined whatever it was they were going to offer because I don't want an V8 and I don't want a Chevy. It's really hard to drive the car right now. The transmission still kinda works enough to go down the road, but I took back roads from Knoxville to Alcoa. I half way expected them to look at it and make sure the transmission was dead for sure. They didn't. Then a manager came over, Trustin Hampton. He wanted me to trade the car in for half what I paid for it less than an oil change ago. And he wanted me to buy another car from them. A much, much more expensive car. He went on to explain how they don't always have cars on hand and trade-ins will come and go quickly. At this point, I'm not happy. I would say I am openly angry and frustrated. I explained to him that If I bout another $5000 car from them, I would end up paying $10,000 The other car cost ($5500 + $1000 for fees, license transfer, all that mess + $1000 to get it running) Giving me $3000 for that puts me at a net loss of $4500 on a $5000 car. Selling me another $5000 car puts me in a $5000 car for $10,000. As I angrily tried to explain this, he just kept saying he was trying to help me. I feel like he was just trying to sell me another car, and one that I still couldn't afford, at that. Eventually I told him I understood that trade-ins come and go and that I could come back and look at something more suitable as he suggested. Then he said, so what are you going to do with that car in the mean time? I Kinda thought they might have room for it on their car lot. I eventually talked him into letting me leave it there till the weekend when I could maybe trade it in or get someone else to move it. So I get up to leave and I ask for his card so I can come leave a review about him here. I made the statement "Wow, if Levi thought the review was bad before, he's really going to freak out now". Ya see, when I made my First review, it was 4 stars. Levi called me, quite upset that he hadn't done the best possible job, trying to figure out what he could do to get that other star. I was going to update the review with this experience and go down to 3 stars. Trustin wasn't having any of that. He got really mad when I said that. he told me I threatened him and he called me a liar several times. He ran to his office and got the key to my car that he was going to let me leave there and told me that if It was still there at 8pm, he'd have it towed. He said "I don't want to help you anymore at all. I don't respond to threats." and a lot more of that kind of thing. Honestly, I was making a joke about Levi's customer service level. He took it as a threat and blew up on me. Maybe I was still angry and had a threatening look on my face or something like that... I don't know, but I don't think I did. I was really pissed of that I lost $4500 on a $5000 purchase after 2 months. Trustin was a hot head. He didn't try to help me when Airport Honda sold me a car with a bad transmission. He just got mad and told me to leave. He told me if I left a bad review it would be slander. I told him that "I'm going to tell the truth and the truth isn't slander". Besides.. in print it would be liable. I'm still extremely angry. I considered waiting a day to write this, but I wanted it all to still be fresh on my mind, so this is the angry version. More
Stellar Customer Relationship We bought our first Honda from Kevin Coffman in 2002. From the beginning, we were impressed by Kevin's knowledge and professionalism. Since then we We bought our first Honda from Kevin Coffman in 2002. From the beginning, we were impressed by Kevin's knowledge and professionalism. Since then we have grown to love Kevin as customers but also as friends. Our purchase of a CRV in April made a total of 9 vehicles that my family has purchased from Kevin, including new and pre-owned - mostly Hondas, but a a couple of pre-owned vehicles of other makes. In addition, my parents and both siblings have purchased from vehicles from Kevin. Kevin takes the time to really know and understand our needs. On more than one occasion, Kevin has advised us to choose the lesser expensive of two vehicles based on our lifestyle. One unique experience we had with Kevin was when our daughter's car was stolen while she was in college. Attending school 6 hours away plus being too young for a rental, she needed another car quickly. After calling the police and the insurance company, our next call was to Kevin. He identified a pre-owned Civic for us to test drive, which we did with our daughter participating on Face Time! When you are Kevin's customer, you are spoiled by the personal service he gives you. A friend purchased a CRV from another dealer the same weekend that I bought mine. She told me how startled she was by the lane departure feature. I was not - because not only did Kevin tell me about it, he made sure that I experienced it on the test drive so I would be familiar with the behavior. Kevin also takes care of the small details that WOW me. For example, he makes sure that the radio presets in the new car match the settings in the old one. I know that when we buy from Kevin that we can trust the vehicle because we trust Kevin. More

Brett and Dan at Airport Honda made the entire process so streamlined and effortless that I still marvel at their dauntless professionalism and wizard-like accumen. Their intrepid, expeditious manuevering within the usually confusing and shark-infested waters of Auto Trading showed that they were not only the lords and masters of their chosen profession, but veterans in measured empathy and practicable actions taken for the benefit of their clients. Within a couple of hours, these two lads had the deal done, and I was off home in my newly acquired motorcar. In all, it felt more like a visit among friends than a business transaction. I highly recommend this team and the entire cast and crew of Airport Honda. Customer service was their focus from start to finish, and I can assure you that they have gained a faithful customer in me. More
