Great service that began with a phone prediction of problem Christopher Kleinsmith saved the day for me -- and we were very grateful after thinking that we would have a much more complicated problem that would Christopher Kleinsmith saved the day for me -- and we were very grateful after thinking that we would have a much more complicated problem that would cost much more. Chris predicted in our phone call to Al Packer that my T'bird's gear shift problem was connected to a faulty brake light switch that could be fixed on the spot. I headed out to Al Packer the next afternoon and was promptly and kindly greeted at this lovely dealership, and Chris guided me to the waiting area. After about 30 minutes he advised that they did not have the needed switch but their parts people were retrieving one elsewhere, and my car would be ready shortly. I was grateful for the update, and I enjoyed the waiting area. My car was ready within 45 minutes (two hours total of time at AP), and my gear shift works like a charm. And the best part is that I did not have to pay $140 'diagnostic fee' as was quoted to me at another Parkville dealership. The total bill was under $100 !! Thrilled. I am a new fan of Al Packer, and particularly Christopher Kleinsmith. More

Whether I brought my Explorer or my Expedition in for either, service or repair, he would take time to listen to my concern about a repair and he would follow up to make sure it was taken care of in a timely manner. If there happens to be a delay, he would inform you and explain the reason for the delay. Whether it be a small job such as an oil change, or a larger job, Tony has always handled everything professional and courteous manner. A rarity found in some other auto repair facilities and many other places. More

Quick Service For New Ford Explorer I went in for a quick lube/tire rotation, etc. I also pointed out a seat issue. They repaired the seat, changed oil but could not get the locks off I went in for a quick lube/tire rotation, etc. I also pointed out a seat issue. They repaired the seat, changed oil but could not get the locks off the wheels. They indicated they would need to replace the locks due to aftermarket locks. Dave Worth (manager) ordered the locks and had them in a week. They called me to let me know. I went back and they quickly replaced the locks and rotated my tires. All covered under warranty! Great overall experience. Nice, clean waiting area with WiFi and computers for use while waiting. Friendly staff. Well done Al Packer! Steve More
Price you see is NOT the price you get All of the advertised prices at the dealership are much lower than the actual prices you will pay when you start negotiating numbers. We came in for one advertised price and there was about a $1000 of added fees that were never mentioned. We are not talking tax, title, license, processing fees that every dealer will add, but rather certifying fees that are just purposely concealed to get you in the door and at the table. Several of the other reviews mention the same experience. Out of four dealerships i visited the while shopping around, this was the only dealer that did not have transparent pricing. It was also the only dealer that advertises “Price you see is the price you get.” More
