Friday the 13th repair Ok, so I never believed in that Friday the 13th thing. But the second Friday the 13th in a row almost got me to. My 2008 Ford Focus started the day wi Ok, so I never believed in that Friday the 13th thing. But the second Friday the 13th in a row almost got me to. My 2008 Ford Focus started the day with a louder ''road noise'' sound than usual. I didn't think much of it at the time - the car has 238+ thousand miles on it. It got much worse as the day went on. I got it to Al Packer's White Marsh Ford at 12:30 in the afternoon, fully expecting to need a rental car and not see mine till Monday afternoon. After work at 3PM - I stopped by to see if anything had been done. They had moved my car into a bay to look at it. 1/2 hr. later I was given the news that the rear passenger side wheel bearing was coming apart and took out the brake pad with it! David Worth, my service adviser, said he could have it done by 7Pm - yeah, right! At 5:30 PM I was back on the road! I cannot express how grateful I am for the professionalism, courtesy and hard work exhibited in making sure my car got repaired quickly. More
