I purchased a Chrysler with written assurance from the service manager Alex that is was a Factory-Backed Certified Preowned vehicle except where noted (none) in the summer of 2018. In February of 2020, with 10 months of corrosion protection left on my warranty, the vehicle was brought into the dealer with rust bubbles on the driver door. The service personnel, after walking around the vehicle in 2 minutes, claimed that the door had previously been painted and is no longer covered under warranty.
