Erbin in financing was also just a pleasure to work with. He really listened to our wants, needs, and concerns and did everything to make it right. While we did not purchase a car, it was solely because of a lack of inventory which is no fault of the Alamo Toyota team. I would highly recommend this dealership to family and friends as a place to go if in the market for a car and will personally recommend these to individuals to seek out to assist in the car buying process. Just bought my second car in 9 months. I traded in a 2022 Toyota Corolla XSE Hatchback I just bought in January. It just wasn't working out for me because I felt it was too small for my needs. I really liked my sales associate, Raul Rios. He was patient and worked hard to get me another car dealing with the fact that I had negative equity given the time period for the trade in. He was easy to talk to and I think he worked hard to help me out. This was my second time working with Erbin Aceituno, the Finance Manager. The man is a miracle worker! He really knows his stuff and come xxxx or high water, he will get you into the car you want. He ended up getting me into a better car for the money and a shorter financing term. So now I have a brand new, loaded Rav4 and I am super happy with it.. Last time around he even went to bat for my daughter who had come to the dealership with me. She didn't have the best credit and despite this fact and thinking she couldn't buy anything decent with the amount of money she had to spend on a car, he found her a 4 year old Rav4 that turned out to be a great car for her. Didn't expect that! They are very respectful at the dealership and the manager, Darrel Deak, makes sure to stop and say hello. I had one service appointment for an oil change on my Corolla. The work was efficiently done. No complaints there either. If you are thinking of getting a car, for sure I recommend either of these two associates of Alamo. More

Completely unethical and borderline illegal sales practices at this dealer. I went to see a car listed online and after looking at it, test driving it, etc. agreed to the price listed online. My first red flag was when Christopher, the salesperson, avoided producing a purchase order. He finally produced a handwritten sheet that just had the price online, adding $1900, then adding all other fees. After insisting on an itemized sheet, the $1900 was simply added to the sales price - I'm not talking about all those other fees typically added or some sort of mandatory service. They simply advertise a price, agree to a price and then add $1900 to the price. I've seen some questionable practices at dealers before, but this one is by far the worst. As frustrating as it is that I wasted a trip and time looking at a car, it's more upsetting that they clearly get away with pulling this on other customers that are not as vigilant. I don't think I'm done by posting this review - this is worth filing a complaint with the Texas AG's office and I recommend others with this experience do the same. More

This all started when my son lost his car and quickly needed a new vehicle to get back and forth from his new job. After shopping several businesses, his mom decided to look on RBFCUs website and go with needed a new vehicle to get back and forth from his new job. After shopping several businesses, his mom decided to look on RBFCUs website and go with a preferred dealer recommended by the bank(1st mistake). So online at Alamo Toyota, a 2015 Audi A3 with under 53k miles was located for just under $20k, and she scheduled an appointment to see the vehicle. After talking with Jeremy, the salesman, the price was inflated by $3,000. When questioned by his Mother, the salesman said that is a fee they charge to do a service 100+ check on the vehicle(super shady)(I have a copy of the used car checklist, and no such thing was ever performed) being in the predicament they were in and needing to get the car, and she signed some paperwork with no explanation of what was what or the total price, etc.; somehow, the price was inflated by $3,000 more then it was advertised for. The charge is for clearly nothing but a pure GREED fee that's not even lawful. Now his mom and a friend with her at the time went into the finance office and dealt with Erbin, who advised her they could do all the final paperwork at the dealership since they had a dealer agreement with RBFCU and it would help from having to go to the bank and then back to sign etc. She was happy with this alternative, but everything soon changed when Erbin, the F&I manager, wanted her to buy a GAP that RBFCU did not provide. She declined and told him she had recently lost a vehicle and the GAP provided by RBFCU she believed it to cover a higher percentage versus a debt waiver he was trying to sell. He instantly shut down and said OK, if you aren't buying this with me, take your paperwork to RBFCU, and they can do your paperwork. If Erbin had been able to sell her Gap, he would have been compensated for the sale per his pay plan by the dealership, but since the buyer said no, he didn't want it to impact his quotas negatively, so he kicked her to the curb. She asked about an extended warranty as any mother would want their kids to be protected, and Erbin said we don't offer anything for this car, and he became insulting. Here is what we have since found out they DO offer a warranty. She could have bought one, but since they decided to be greedy and mark up the car $3,000 more than its value, he couldn't sell her a warranty, if he did sell one, the bank would have rejected the loan. We feel considering the Loan to Value was way over the aloud percentages on a 2015 year model vehicle per any bank's guidelines, this is why Erbin decided to engage in a deceptive practice and chose the greedy option. To put it plainly, the dealership decided to be greedy and knew the bank would not allow any more money on this note, so they lied to the buyer. Here are a few other issues no disclosures were ever issued per Texas Law after they took all the customers' personal information(God knows what they did with it), nor did they disclose open recalls currently on the vehicle or the previous damage reported by CarFax and Autocheck. Also, in less than 30 days, the motor blew, causing us to investigate this deal, and this is how we found all these violations and deceptive practices in which this organization has chosen to partake in deliberately. I could go on and on about other areas they have completely dropped the ball on, but as of now, our counsel will take it from here, and we will go the route of the law since that is our only option. The dealership, out of greed, chose to mark up the price of the vehicle so much, not allowing a warranty, and now we have a blown motor that cost 23K to fix, a loan of 25K, and a kid without a car. The GSM Joe was deceitful, and the GM did nothing for us. I guess that is how he can live in a 1.3M dollar home in Borene, Tx if they are deluding people and making $$$ more than they advertise online and make a practice of taking advantage of minority women. The service adviser at Alamo even told the Audi Service adviser, "O yeah, that was the car that had engine knock when it was in service," so they knew this... More
