At the dealership that had the Ioniq, not only was their starting point for negotiation $2,000 over MSRP, but they didn't bother to tell us that they didn't have the 2018 model (which qualifies for federal and state rebates through 12/31) on the lot. We spent three hours getting the classic car salesman experience and went home feeling like we needed to take a shower. The next day we sat down with Mike at Alan Webb Chevrolet, and it was a completely different experience. He had taken us for a test drive the day before and had given us a rough pricing/financing sheet to take home and think about overnight. We had a target monthly payment in mind, and he helped us find a combination of incentives and financing that let us hit what we could afford. The experience was smooth, relaxed, and felt friendly the whole time, Once the paperwork was signed, he sat us down in the car and showed us how to use some of the advanced features on the car. And then he took a picture of us with the car and texted it over to us -- so thoughtful! Buying a car is always a bit stressful and confusing, but we had done our research and knew what we wanted, and Mike didn't try to pressure us into anything different. Fantastic buyer experience After looking online for Silverado pickups and seeing the inventory and prices Alan Webb has, my wife and I took a trip down there to check them out. After looking online for Silverado pickups and seeing the inventory and prices Alan Webb has, my wife and I took a trip down there to check them out. Conner met us when we walked in and helped us. I had done a little research on the available options for the Silverado, but had a few questions. He answered our questions and provided additional information about the options I didn’t even know about. After we were finished and ready to leave, he got in the truck with us and walked through all of the various controls on the dash and explained their functionality. He also synced up our phones with the system. Since my wife doesn’t drive the car we took down there to Alan Webb, Conner and a coworker followed us to our house to deliver the truck. (We were a little concerned how we were going to do this, but he volunteered) Bree helped us get the additional accessories we wanted. One of these was not in stock, so she got it ordered.
