First thing (7AM) service appointment, checked in with Tanner in about 5 minutes. Waiting at dealership, updated within an hour... two things to be addressed, 2.5 hours time to complete estimate. The regular service work was fine. However, I specifically mentioned in my appointment notes there has been an issue with the key fob where intermittently it either does not unlock the However, I specifically mentioned in my appointment notes there has been an issue with the key fob where intermittently it either does not unlock the car or it unlocks the car but the "fob not detected" warning comes on on the dash. The service tech informed me they replaced the fob battery however I informed him I had already done that twice and it did not resolve this issue. This issue arose shortly after the car battery had been replaced by subaru a couple months ago. I was told I should leave and come back if the issue persists. I do not find it acceptable that I now must take even more time out of my schedule to bring the car back in again when this should have been treated seriously the first time. More
