Poor Service I just bought a used car and it had a high speed shake in the steering wheel, indicating a tire balance problem. When serviced for this issue the deal I just bought a used car and it had a high speed shake in the steering wheel, indicating a tire balance problem. When serviced for this issue the dealership did NOT balance the tires but instead ground down the rotors and did an alignment. Why? They wouldn't say and they wouldn't give me a copy of the alignment numbers. When I got in the car after this service it still had the high speed shake in the steering wheel AND now, additionally, it pulls to the left, indicating that the alignment is off. I called and made a second appointment to have both issues resolved. The second time around they again would not show me the alignment numbers. They said they checked the tire pressure, balanced the tires and did an alignment. The car drives the same. Nothing solved. Both visits I had to ask for a receipt for the work done. When I asked to speak with a manager, they told me there was no manager on duty at the dealership on the weekend so they would have a manager give me a call on Monday. No call. I did email the service director and have not received a reply as yet. So thought since no one wants to talk to me I’d write this review. More

Great car, experience, and people! My wife and I searched around for a good month or so for a Crosstrek. After visiting 4-5 dealers, countless internet searching we decided to come into My wife and I searched around for a good month or so for a Crosstrek. After visiting 4-5 dealers, countless internet searching we decided to come into Subaru of Wakefield as they gave one of the better online quotes. We came in and test drove a manual transmission because that's what we wanted, but fell in love with the automatic with moonroof. We brought in an online quote from another dealer that was lower than their initial quote and instead of expecting them to laugh in our face at the price (other dealerships have no problem doing that thinking you're crazy) they said we could choose any color on their lot for our quoted price from the other dealer with no hidden costs. No haggling, no back and forth, no good cop/bad cop. Ken, the service manager was really nice, and Sydney (our salesman) was amazing. Super nice, down to earth, zero pressure, and really knew the car. Best straight-up dealer experience and the car is amazing. More

Not only were we helped but Al Mazin sat down with us for an hour. We were blown away with the customer service. In any car buying situation there was a little pressure to buy right away, but that should be expected especially on the last day of the month.. In a subsequent trip up Al even called a rental car company for me and got me a deal on a rental car I needed to get home that night. Because of our situation, no car, complexity of car insurance, etc. we had to make several trips to the dealership. It would have been nice if they took care of the MA state inspection for us. More

Dealership and sales person, Jason Matte I was driving a 2006 Highlander that had reached 200,000 miles I needed a car with better gas mileage. Subaru had great reviews. Purchase Used Car My 1999 Subaru died on 128 which forced me to buy a new car. I had my car towed to Subaru of Wakefield as it was the closest Subaru dealership. Chri My 1999 Subaru died on 128 which forced me to buy a new car. I had my car towed to Subaru of Wakefield as it was the closest Subaru dealership. Christine and Mike in Service took great care of me and promptly assessed the damage. Unfortunately, the car was essentially totaled. While I live in Dover NH, the positive experience I had with their service department made me consider buying my "new' Subaru from this dealership. They had a very nice 2012 Subaru Legacy that had most of the features I wanted and low mileage. I spoke with Rhett on the phone and arranged to see the car when I came to get the stuff out of my dead car. I test drove the car and bought it that same day. The sales person I dealt with was patient with me while I made my decision and answered my questions about the car, but did seem a bit pushy (he has since left the dealership). I also met with the finance person (whose name I can't recall) who convinced me to get the extended warranty, which I do think will be a worthwhile investment. He helped expedite the process so that I could pick up the title to the car so I could bring it to NH to get new plates. I picked the car up the following Tuesday and when I took it to be inspected here in NH, the mechanic pointed out some damage that had not really been noticeable without having the car on the lift and looking at it carefully. This consisted of a long dent in the passenger door, rust on the front passenger wheel panel and a slit in the front passenger tire. I immediately contacted the sales person at Subaru of Wakefield, who put the Used Car Sales Manager, Joe Barbagallo, in touch with me. I sent Joe pictures of the damage and he referred me to the Sales Manager, Vincent Izzi. I arranged to meet with Mr. Izzi the following week. When we met, he agreed to take care of the tire as that was a definite safety issue. He initially only offered to put me in touch with the shop that does their body work to have that damage repaired at their cost. I felt the damage was indicative of an "incident" that had not been reported on CarFax or pointed out to me. I met with the General Manager, Mr. Sal Barbagallo, and he agreed to have the repairs done at their body shop (Tecce's Collision). The work was completed last week (Tecce's did a great job) and I now have my "new' car. The process was not a smooth as I would have hoped, but I very much appreciate the responsibility and actions they took to make things right. I am very happy with my purchase, and if I didn't live so far away, I would definitely take my car there to be serviced. More
