Never easier to buy a car and get a good deal We wanted a new model Subaru Forester, in a particular color, and needed to get it within a few weeks. Perry Mallias worked with us, even though we We wanted a new model Subaru Forester, in a particular color, and needed to get it within a few weeks. Perry Mallias worked with us, even though we came in without an appointment. He answered all of our questions, filled out paperwork on a car that was scheduled to come in within 3 weeks. Then he called us to let us know they had gotten another car in our color, on a trade with another dealer. We were able to complete this deal within a week, and had our new car. Pricing was very easy with no hassle or pressure , and Perry walked us through all of the features of the new car when we picked it up. We hope to keep this car for a long time, but will use the dealership for maintenance, and will call Perry for any new car purchases in the future. More

I purchased a used car which proved to have a few issues, and I was told there was no warranty on a used car. They were primarily service issues, which were addressed immediately after I received a call from manager Vinny ISO. Many thanks to him and especially Kenny Bettano for their help in resolving the problems. I commend Subaru of Wakefield for their commitment to customer service. More

Rude and high pressure sales tactics after a test drive. Two Subaru models were on the short list of new cars I was considering, and Subaru of Wakefield was my first stop on a day full of test drives. After test driving a couple different models we returned to the dealership to discuss numbers. I made it clear that I wanted to try out some other makes and models from other dealers before coming to a final decision, but the salesmen and the sales manager both attempted to apply high pressure to get me to purchase a vehicle right then and there. They were also resistant in discussing the details behind the numbers they were offering me, instead making emotional appeals and attempting the hard sale. That was a terrible misread on their part, since I'm a facts & figures sort of individual who wants to understand the details of the money and terms for any sort of deal I might make, and I'm not going to cave from hard-sell tactics; they only make me less likely to do business. I walked out of the dealership having decided that, even if I chose to purchase a Subaru, it would not be from Subaru of Wakefield. A few days later I received a follow-up phone call from the sales manager. He was pleasant enough at first, until I told him that I had already made a decision to purchase a vehicle elsewhere, but thanked him for following-up anyway. He immediately ended the call with a rude "whatever" *click*. If simple human decency has value to you, avoid Subaru of Wakefield. More
The Best! When i found out my car was dead and i was suddenly in the market for a new one i knew i had to get another Subaru. I went online and found some local dealers, and ended up heading to Subaru of Wakefield first. I'm so glad that I did. I was walking around the lot trying to figure out which color crosstrek I liked the most, and which one was the cheapest. I also kind of pondered the Impreza, since it was cheaper to start. Justin came over and talked to me about all the differences and suggested that maybe the Impreza was the car for me. Now, he could of suggested the crosstrek which was a couple thousand more, and was pretty cool looking, but instead he actually suggested what he thought would be the perfect car for me. And he was totally right. Test drive, negotiate a lower price, bam! i now own and LOVE my new car. A week or so later i thought something was off with the USB port and he set me up an appointment. I had to leave it there overnight because of a snow storm, so when i got there the next morning it was covered in snow. But not for long! After a minute or two of me cleaning it off, various subaru employees came over to help me out! I can't say enough good things about Justin and the rest of the team at Subaru of Wakefield! More

Five years before I felt they treated me fairly when it came to sales practices and trade-in and I didn't feel any pressure when it came time to buy. Since then I have taken the car in for maintenance and repairs and found it easy to find service hours that met my schedule. I also liked the fact that I could book a service appointment on line. When my car was in for service, they let me know what to expect in terms of time and money and offered me a loaner for more extensive work. For all these reasons I decided to return to Wakefield for my new car. I new what I wanted having owned a few Subaru's. I asked for Perry because he had shown such an friendly and fun disposition the first time. I told Perry what I wanted and he went through all the available features asking me which were of interest to me. He gave me options without pushing me towards anything I didn't want. He arranged a test drive on the spot and we found a car on the lot that fit my needs with just the addition of some fog lights. The car was ready for just three days later and when I went to pick it up he explained all the features so I was ready to drive. I would definitely go back again to buy and for service. More

There was no sale pressure and number game being played. This dealership sets an example what a car dealer should be!!! The salesman I have, Al Mazin, was very patient and helpful. He just told me straight what the bottom line was without going back and forth like others and his quote was beating quotes from 3 other dealers I tried before. I also traded in my car and trade-in quote I got is phenomenon. Other dealer couldn't even come close. I love the way how Al works, agree the price first, then work on the trade-in. No mixing of sale and trade in number confusion.Well, who says car salesman can't be trusted. Definitely Al is the one you can trust! More

I was very hesitant to make the drive but they were advertising the vehicle I was looking for at a price I could afford. When I arrived, there was an immediate feeling of comfort. I could tell right away that it was a family owned business because I felt like family as soon as I arrived. Even during the price negotiations I felt like I was dealing with my brother, not a huge conglomerate. They went the extra mile to ensure I was happy with my decision and remained comfortable with the deal we had negotiated. Unlike many other dealers I have dealt with over the past 20 years, the folks at Subaru of Wakefield were honest the whole way through, never leaving me questioning their integrity. This review would be incomplete without a huge thank you to Joe, my salesman. While I was looking at the car I purchased, I mentioned the fact that there were a lot of scratches along the door frame and asked if he could throw in some touch up paint with the deal so that I could fix them. He said that because they were a Subaru dealer, they would not have the paint I needed but I could check with one of the local Toyota dealers in the area. After I took delivery of the car and got it home, I opened the glovebox and guess what I found...A brand new bottle of touch up paint. Thanks again Joe. More
