Our family-owned and operated dealership looks forward to giving the Indy area the same quality of service that the 2 generations of Alderman's before us provided.
Jerry Alderman, our grandfather, ventured into this business in 1953 and established Alderman Ford. He was dedicated to running the dealership differently than his competitors by creating & maintaining relationships with customers and providing products they could stand behind. One of the biggest things that set Alderman apart from everyone else in the industry was the meaning of their handshake. If offered a handshake, rest assured you were shaking the hand of someone with integrity.
Our father, Gary, took over the dealership in 1967 and continued to run the dealership the "Alderman Way" by embracing those same fundamentals until he retired in 2005.
Fast forward 12 years and Alderman Automotive opened its doors. We successfully continue to base our name and company on the same principles that the two generations before us did. We are honored to be "back in the business" and continue to share the Alderman name with our community, both near and far.

I have been to Alderman now 3 times and each time the service was exceptional from start to finish. Recently I came in with a battery issue and Adam and Logan were both fantastic with fixing the issue im service was exceptional from start to finish. Adam and Logan are not only very knowledgable but are genuinely kind. I would highly recommend Alderman and will be a returning customer. More

I received really good service on my car. Logan and Adam were great to work with. They were able to let me know that my car battery wasn't holding a charge. I don't like to use my debit card and my credit cards either give me points or extended pay options. More

Believe the one-star reviews and avoid Alderman like the plague it is. Communication is a joke -- they seem to have a policy to not return calls or respond to emails. Of course, i didn't realize this until after I committed to the purchase. The car was delivered to me with the sound system permanently on mute. No radio, no navigation, no satellite, no warning chimes or buzzers. Dealer's response: "it must have broken after we delivered the car to you -- it is your responsibility to fix it." They delivered the car to my door in Ohio without a working stereo, and then blamed me for breaking it! With 20/20 hindsight, I clearly should have walked -- no run -- away from Alderman. Non-negotiable price, non-honored coupons, high pressure sales on warranties and accessories, and no returned calls or emails. All in all, the archetype of the "bad used car" experience. More

Have a tendency to not provide a clear and precise explanation of their warranties, and coverage options. Give misleading options on solutions to mechanical issues. Become very condescending when clients do not wish to spend thousands of dollars on repairs. Made me personally feel stupid because multiple times in a row I was informed that my warranty would cover a repair that my car needed, drove an hour to get to the dealership for repairs, waited for over four hours, just to be told that my warranty actually doesn’t cover that super specific part and I would need to spend thousands on repairs for a car I’ve owned less than two months. I wasn’t given any options for financing the repairs and when I asked about it the staff immediately appeared bothered and uninterested in offering me any further help. More
