Our family-owned and operated dealership looks forward to giving the Indy area the same quality of service that the 2 generations of Alderman's before us provided.
Jerry Alderman, our grandfather, ventured into this business in 1953 and established Alderman Ford. He was dedicated to running the dealership differently than his competitors by creating & maintaining relationships with customers and providing products they could stand behind. One of the biggest things that set Alderman apart from everyone else in the industry was the meaning of their handshake. If offered a handshake, rest assured you were shaking the hand of someone with integrity.
Our father, Gary, took over the dealership in 1967 and continued to run the dealership the "Alderman Way" by embracing those same fundamentals until he retired in 2005.
Fast forward 12 years and Alderman Automotive opened its doors. We successfully continue to base our name and company on the same principles that the two generations before us did. We are honored to be "back in the business" and continue to share the Alderman name with our community, both near and far.

Steve Winburn, the salesman, was great. Finance department called me back to the store 3 times because they, apparently, forgot to have me sign some papers. I originally had some concerns about my experience with Alderman Automotive related to pricing and some add-ons that were included during the financing process. After discussing the situation with the deal Alderman Automotive related to pricing and some add-ons that were included during the financing process. After discussing the situation with the dealership, they took the time to address the issues and work with me to resolve the concerns. I do want to give credit where it’s due—they were able to get me approved for the vehicle despite my credit history, which I appreciate. Once everything was reviewed, some of the products that were added during financing were removed and the situation was handled. Buying a vehicle can sometimes be a complicated process, but I respect a business that is willing to step in and help correct things when concerns are brought up. Because of that, I’m updating my review to reflect that they did make an effort to help resolve the situation. Overall, if you’re looking for a dealership that can help get you approved and is willing to work with you when issues come up, Alderman Automotive is worth considering. More

After the dealer quoted an exorbitant price to replace liftgate struts and made little effort to get my warranty to cover it, I brought my car to Alderman and their thorough inspection revealed only one s liftgate struts and made little effort to get my warranty to cover it, I brought my car to Alderman and their thorough inspection revealed only one stut needed replaced and they got the warranty to cover it by sending photos and video. If the claim had been denied their cost was significantly less (over $500) than the dealer. They went above and beyond. Adam, Brad, and Matt were great at keeping me informed and answering all my questions. They also found other issues and provided photos of the areas which helps in making choices about what needs done now and what can wait. More
