Not only did they loose the truck for a week they told me I had no appointment after spending 30 min on the phone with a service adviser for her to not put the truck in the computer. Waited for 3 weeks for an appointment for them to loose the truck and tell me a lot of stuff is not covered under factory warranty because I waited to bring the truck in. Truck was less than a year old and had 20,000 miles on it and was purchased new from another deal in Jan 2016. The service adviser was rude and did not help at all. I would recommend another dealer. This dealer is just horrible.... More

What you’re shopping for is someone to provide you more information and be able to service that car. After all, your about to enter into a long term relationship with that dealership. All-Star Chrysler in Bridgeton, is relationship that I truly regret starting. As an organization, I found them to be the embodiment of every stereotype of a car dealer that you can think of. I was told by a Sales Manager and Body Shop Manager, that I should accept the defect in my vehicle, since it was a common defect. The GSM was unaware of the defect and seemed generally unaware of his product. It took 2 weeks, 9 visits, 8 hours on site, and 3 hours of lost work with an uncompromising standard. I’m so disappointed, I just wish I could give my vehicles back and walk away. In February, I purchased two, 2016 Jeep Cherokees. I specifically chose All-Star in Bridgeton, based on previously meeting one their Sales Managers. I passed other Jeep dealerships so I could do business at All-Star. After owning my two Cherokees for a couple of months, I noticed the hood and the rear hatch were out of alignment. I sent an email to my sales person, simply asking for a point of contact so I could get this matter addressed. My previously helpful and accommodating sales person, never responded. (My guess is because he had already cashed his commission check.) I returned to the dealership and was assisted by a different salesman, who brought my issue to the attention of the General Sales Manager. The salesman then escorted me to various departments until we ended at the body shop. The manager of the body shop told me there wasn’t much he could do to fix, but would try to make it better. The body shop manager, brought me several other Cherokee’s to point out that there were all that way, but he would try. I left my Cherokee in their care and took home a rental. The next day, I picked up my Cherokee. I was disappointed with the results, but accepted it as their “best” and made arrangements to bring my other Cherokee up the next day. I was cautioned again, they would do their best. I even asked if I was the only guy that ever complained about it and was told they adjusted one hood before me. (I Googled “2016 jeep Cherokee hood alignment” and got over 200,000 hits. But All-Star only knows of one before me.) When I picked up my second Cherokee, I was informed that it aligned “better” than the other one. Which was true. (My issue became, how can two identical vehicles not be able to be adjusted the same?) I took this issue to the Sales Manager I knew previously. I was told again, that “they are all that way” and the Challengers have the same issue. (To me, it sounded like a child’s excuse, “But everyone else is doing it.”) He then asked, “Besides all that, how do you like it?” I then told him everything else I was dissatisfied with, such as how I don’t believe the transmission down shifts properly. But a great deal of my frustration has to do with the “tech package”. How the Uconnect 8.4 system functions and interacts with my mobile device. For example, the default position on the “radio” is on. And you cannot turn it off, your only option is to mute or turn down the volume. I find it annoying when I mute the sound system for a conversation and the next time I start the car, it defaults to its previously non-muted status. The Uconnect via Mobile function is unreliable, I have an email box full of notices that the connection failed. Most of all, when using the safety feature of hands free voice to text, the system amends your text message with “… Sent from my Jeep, Uconnect”. Frankly, it’s no one’s business where I am when I’m texting, unless I tell them. Had I known their system did this, I would have walked away. The Sales Manager I was telling this too, said he didn’t realize the system did this, since he never synced his phone to the dealer cars he drove. (I Googled “Uconnect text signature” and got over 57,000 hits, but no one at All-Star knows this) He did, however, offer to set up a meeting with the General Sales Manager so I could discuss these issues. Out of professionalism, I sent the General Sales Manager an email detailing the events and my treatment. When I arrived back to the dealership, I approached the General Sales Manager and introduced myself saying that the Sales Manager was supposed to set up a meeting. The GSM told me that he didn’t know about a meeting and hadn’t read my email. I gave him a moment to read my email so we could discuss how to proceed. The GSM seemed to be very empathetic and accommodating. However, he told me that he didn’t know about alignment issues (200,000 hits) until I showed him on the Cherokee on the floor. He said he didn’t know about the “text signature” (57,000 hits) and the other managers shouldn’t have told me that the issue were “normal”. The GSM went to address the issue with the respective departments, telling their managers to treat it like it was “His” car and asked if I could bring my cars back to be fixed. To their credit, both Cherokees are now fixed to my satisfaction. However, I sent the initial email on April 18 and I will be picking up my second vehicle today, May 3. Both vehicles required two trips to the dealer. I guess the first time, they treated it like a “Customer” car and the second time, they were treated like the “General Sales Manager’s” car. If you made it this far... Zachary Jones is the "Good Guy" in this story. Jason Pritz is the one that blew me off. In the end Scott Hamilton, literally just turned away from me. Your investment, deserves better. More

I hate playing games I had a terrific experience with Matt Harmon when I purchased my Jeep 18 months ago. He made the whole process quick and easy. I hate playing games when it comes to haggling over price but Matt was straightforward with the invoice and when he guessed a little short on the valuation of my trade-in, he found a way to make it up so that my end price was a little less than we previously agreed on. I highly recommend working with Matt! As disappointing as getting safety recall notifications is, the service department has made the whole process as easy as possible. I love the shuttle service. The personnel I worked with were incredibly friendly, especially Anthony Overall. I was repeatedly thanked for doing business with them by everyone I came in contact with. More

They ch On July 14, 2014, I took my 97 Dodge Van in to have a left front wheel bearing, that had gone bad , replaced. Mileage at that time was 180079. They checked the spindle and said it was okay then replaced the inner and outer bearings races and grease seal. Total for labor, parts and taxes was $360.00. On April 20, 2015, I took the vehicle to a shop to look at the left front wheel bearing making a lot of noise. Upon inspection the inner wheel bearing had not been packed properly with grease and no grease had even been applied to the inner race. The inner race was covered with rust on the entire surface where the bearing rides. The lack of grease on the race and on the inner grease seal allowed water to infiltrate and the rust the race and the bearing was riding on the rust make lots of noise. This all occurred when the odometer read 184559. Even cheap wheel bearings installed properly will last at least 50,000 miles. Good bearing installed properly will last over 100k miles with service checks. Given that All Star Dodge charged me $360.00 for a service that should last at least 50,000 miles and lasted only 10% of the time there should be compenssation as I am no longer in the St Louis area, but the response from the Service Manager JEFF FERGUSON was and I quote "I reviewed your images with my assistant manager and cannot determine any improper repair made at our facility. " Based on this I would recommend taking your vehile to some other service department, as this is improper work by their technician and complete denial of failure by management. I even sent them pictures showing the extent of the rust and water infiltration into the front wheel bearing area as they put a new hub (dust cover) on the from bearing and the outside was clean bt the inside was covered with rust and the cotter pin and nut lock were also covered in rust which could be plainly seen in the photos. In my opinion, the service department at ALL STAR Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram should be avoided at all costs. Morris Dare A Former All Star customer Since I sent comments to the service manager and received no response< I will embellish a little. I sent All Star a picture showing the inner wheel bearing race which is covered in rust. Apparently they do not know what they were looking at as they think that is fine. I am not making statements about the quality of the parts as they used aftermarket parts and not MoPar parts which is not the issue. I am making a complaint about the installation that was done improperly. The placed a lot of grease on the inner part of the bearing but did not properly pack the grease into the bearing or even make a faint attempt to put grease on the bearing race. This improper lubrication caused the inner grease seal to not properly seal out moisture which caused the unlubricated bearing race to rust. Apparently they do not wish to properly evaluate the pictures they were provide. The work I had to have done to repair this mess was done by a Certified shop and they disassembled and laid the parts out for me to take pictures which any reputable service department would review and see what they had done wrong. All Star just doesn't want to admit that they rushed a job and did not do the work properly. More

After waiting all day and no Very nasty attitude and horrible customer service! I dropped my vehicle off a day in advance of my next day appointment. After waiting all day and not being able to get through to them on the phone, I went up there just to find that my jeep had not been worked on at all! It hadn't even been pulled into the repair area (the repair area manager is extremely rude, with an I don't care attitude). Each person I spoke with regarding my jeep was rude and could not give me a reason why my vehicle was still sitting there and not being worked on. They acted as if they didn't have time for me and as if I was a bother to them! Good customer service goes a long way, and when a company's employees are rude and displays bad or no customer service skills, that company loses! TRAIN YOUR PEOPLE! Oh, this is the second time this kind of service has happened. I won't try for a third!!! More

I always feel they are honest about the services I need- if something doesn't have to be done, they recommend not doing it at that time. They tell me what they would do if it was their car. I've also purchased a car from them and had an equally as pleasant experience. I had done my research, and they were very fair. Would I recommend All Star Dodge Chrysler Jeep for service? Absolutely!
