If I could give zero stars, I would. The service department at Allways Atascosa Dodge is the definition of poor work ethic and lack of accountability. I brought in my brand-new 2024 R The service department at Allways Atascosa Dodge is the definition of poor work ethic and lack of accountability. I brought in my brand-new 2024 RAM 2500 with less than 6,000 miles after it left me stranded due to dead batteries. When I tested them myself, one battery showed 11 volts and the other 10 volts, with the alternator putting out 13.1 volts. On top of that, I had to rely on a friend just to get the truck jumped. This wasn’t my only issue. When parked, when the engine is throttled up to 1200 RPM, there’s a clear rattle in the engine bay—possibly a loose heat shield or hardware. A week before the battery failure, the infotainment system was glitching and jumping around, and the steering wheel control buttons quit working altogether. I dropped the truck off for warranty repair, expecting a proper diagnosis and fix. Instead, I got shrugged off with the excuse that I “left something on” and that “nothing is wrong.” As for the rattle? I was told that’s “completely normal.” Let me be clear—I’ve owned multiple RAM 2500s, and I know xxxx well none of this is normal. I’m a field mechanic by trade, and I take pride in my work. It’s sad—pathetic, really—that a dealership’s service department can’t meet even the most basic standard of quality or customer care. To dismiss obvious electrical issues, battery failure, mechanical noise, and electronic malfunctions on a truck with under 6,000 miles is not only lazy, it’s reckless. If this is the level of service Allways Atascosa Dodge considers acceptable, then they have no business working on anyone’s vehicle. Buyer beware—because if you need warranty work done, don’t expect anything more than excuses and denial here. Review of Allways Atascosa Dodge Service Department If I could give zero stars, I would.
