Wrong diagnostics, twice I was very displeased with my service. I took my car in describing a metal-on-metal rubbing sound from the front end of my vehicle. After leaving my c I was very displeased with my service. I took my car in describing a metal-on-metal rubbing sound from the front end of my vehicle. After leaving my car there for diagnostics, they recommended a $1000 water pump replacement. After accepting the repair and later picking up my vehicle, I heard the noise as I pulled out of the lot. I returned my car to their service department for further diagnostics, and they then recommended a wheel hub assembly replacement, coming in at ~$600. I decided to take my vehicle to another shop for a second opinion. The other shop found a damaged drive shaft and promptly replaced the part, fixing the problem. In addition, when dropping off my vehicle, my service rep, Craig, made me feel bad about the high mileage of my vehicle. I do not know if that is a method to promote new car sales, but I found it rather rude. But the guys there were nice and smiled the entire time. More
