I had the absolute pleasure of working with Salesman Spencer Castle, Sales Manager Travis Richardson and Richard in Finance. I have been in the market for a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and have been looking at options for several months. I owned a Jeep in the past, it treated me very well and I have been wanting another one. Spencer and Travis worked hard to find me the perfect fit between the price, quality, color and features I wanted and they nailed it!! The car was spotless, gassed up and waiting for me at the front doors when I arrived that evening. They listened to me when I told them what I wanted and that is exactly what I got. The entire process was fun and it was a breeze! Very professional and pleasant from start to finish. Between the test drive, the sale and meeting with finance, I was in and out of the dealership in about 2.5 hours giving me plenty of time that evening to hit the road and enjoy my new vehicle. The excellent customer service continued after I left. I received follow up emails and text messages from the dealership thanking me for my purchase and providing me all the tools I need to care for my car and who to reach out to if I have any questions. Before I met Shane I thought all big dealer car salesmen were nothing but sharks out burry their next customer. It came as a pleasant surprise to learn there are good honest salesmen out there that do want the best for their customers. After my experience with shane, we started doing business together. I brought absolutely everyone I know to him for and extra ordinary car buying experience. Not that any of his customers are less important than the next, but shane has a passion for our service members. Being a veteran himself, that comes without saying. Around 17 sales later, I can honestly say he made everyone of my friends and coworkers happy. I tell him all the time I don't sell cars, I sell him. If you want to be insulted, disrespected, hung up use Travis Travis, I would like to personally tell you that you are the sole reason my family will NEVER return to Anchorage DJC for any future purchases. As a V Travis, I would like to personally tell you that you are the sole reason my family will NEVER return to Anchorage DJC for any future purchases. As a Veteran and return customer (we have bought and sold several vehicles at your dealership over the past few years). I have NEVER been so blatantly disrespected by a dealership until yesterday when I had the unfortunate pleasure to talk to you. We had spoke two times in the past and both conversations after making a 2 and a half hour trip into Anchorage (one way), were not my most memorable but nowhere near as horrific as yesterdays fiasco. I would like to give you some personal advice. NEVER get threatening towards a customer who is coming to your place a business to spend over 30,000.00, also never HANG UP on a customer who is asking why "numbers changed" when you submitted the deal to the customers bank. Lastly, don't be a xxxxx! We all have our bad days but the utter disrespect you showed me and my family yesterday was uncalled for, disrespectful, harassing and downright unacceptable. The sale offer we had planned should have been the easiest closing a manager and sales team should ever experience. I was preapproved, we already had a trade in value set, numbers were done and all of this was done mostly on my part getting things over to the bank. My end term goal was to arrive at DJC, sign paperwork, shake hands and leave as all the legwork was done on my part. I shouldn't have been hung up on and verbally accosted by you, a member of Management, nor should I have been called a liar or had to deal with your attitude after you changed numbers against what was agreed on. Upon speaking with my loan officer at my bank, I was informed that she too was disrespected by you when she spoke with you on the phone. I would expect this type of treatment from a dirt lot car dealer not a "big name" dealership. I would like to offer you some advice if you plan on sticking in this career field. Take notes from the Sales Manager at Cal Worthington Ford (Elliot). I originally traded my 2012 Harley Davidson Edition F150 in at Cal for a 2009 F350 Diesel. Elliot, a stand up 100% honest manager spoke with me over the phone (same scenario we did at DJC), I asked him to draw paperwork up after he spent a few hours getting every detail I had asked for on the truck (Oasis report, report of all maintenance, full 360 photos, trade appraisal (they had it on file from the week prior when I looked at a truck at your lot and theirs), plus a few concerns (tires, fluids and filters etc.). I arrived the next morning and sadly when the truck went through detail several good scratches and dents were visible (the truck was dirty before he was able to get clean photos and overlooked them.) I was not pleased after making a long 2.+ hour trip in and openly confessed my displeasure with him. Elliot jumped through hoops getting these issues addressed and negotiating more to get the truck on a level playing field on value>trade. Upon leaving I ended up getting some phantom smoking issues from the exhaust on the diesel and after 2 trips into the dealer to get it addressed (a week after purchase) Cal agreed to do what ever it took to make things right. I was put into a rental car (through enterprise) paid for by Cal, I was given daily reports (sometimes 3-4 times) on the status of my truck and other options available if things could not be discovered. In the end and 8 days later I was given my F150 back as we just couldn't figure out the problems. Elliot picked me up from the rental company. He kept me in good spirits throughout the entire debacle and assured me that things would be ok and was very apologetic as well as EVERY member of their team from sales, service and the mechanic himself. They are what I call a SOLID dealership where I would GLADLY return. And I am openly stating this even though the vehicle I bought was in service more than it was driven.. yet I would STILL go back all because of the stellar customer service I received. I strongly suggest you meet Elliot and take some notes on HOW A MANAGER SHOULD TREAT A CUSTOMER. Cal Worthington Ford will continue to get business from my Family (we will be purchasing a new SUV within 3 months for my wife as well as a first car for my son in 4-5 months). Your actions speak LOUDLY for CJD and what nearly cost your store 1 sale now has cost them 2+ future sales in the upcoming months. Sadly I would offer you 0 stars but that is not an option. More

Feeling blessed after purchasing my first car at a not so great dealership, it only took me a few months to realize I needed something better. We immediately told him that we were just looking (looking back at it we were probably a little rude) and he respected us and told us, if we needed anything to let him know. So we continued to look and came across the truck. My wife loved the truck so we opened the door and saw that there was a sold sign on the floor. Bummed, we went to Shane O'neill and asked him if the sign was true or not. He ran inside and came back a minute later and told us that the deal fell through and if we wanted he could run start some paperwork to get it on hold. He was fast, friendly, and more importantly, cared about my wife's concerns. This guy did everything he could to help us get into the truck and it was a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend anyone thinking about purchasing a vehicle to see Shane. I will definitely come back to Anchorage Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Center for future vehicle purchases solely for this reason alone. Thanks Shane! More
