We had a horrible shopping experience at this dealership. The first time we stopped in to test drive a Ram, it took us a while of walking around inside and out before someone came to help us. When we did get a test drive, we were hardly able to drive it anywhere and got no time on the highway. We spent most of the time as passengers while the salesman drove. We came back a second time to look at pricing options on the same vehicle. This time, I actually had to go into the manager's office and ask him to get someone to help us. The salesman, as well as the manager/finance guy (I'm not sure which, but someone eventually came out to discuss pricing options with us as well), focused their attention and questioning mostly on my husband even though I was the one there to purchase the vehicle for myself. I asked what they would be willing to do with the price of the new truck (Dodge Ram Diesel 3500 Longhorn- big money-maker for them mind you) based on current rebates and the military discount, as well as a quote for what they'd be willing to give us for our trade-in vehicle. They played the bargaining game for a while: they kept trying to tell us "this is the best price we can give you" and then going back into whatever office and coming back with a lower price that was the new "bottom line". Finally we told them that another dealership was offering us $5000 more on our trade and $6000 more in rebates on the same truck, at which point they basically called us liars by saying that there was no way we were actually getting that kind of deal on that truck. Needless to say, we went to the other dealership to purchase our truck. I would never go back to Anchorage Chrysler if I was considering a new vehicle and I will dissuade friends and work colleagues (I'm in the Army, so a considerable amount of people) from working with them. The fact that my husband was paid more attention to even though I was the one looking at and purchasing the truck was frustrating and being given the run-around on pricing and trade-in value was a huge waste of my time. Huge thumbs down for these guys. More

Logan was always bluntly honest and gave us all the facts and his opinions, the good and the bad. When we finally decided on the Dodge Journey we knew that it was perfect for us. The purchasing was a lengthy process however we got a fantastic deal and they really made it happen for us. Not to mention everybody was exceptionally friendly with our 2 year old daughter, we left with a car and she with a balloon. Everybody was happy at the end of the day. We were surprised to discover just how nice the Jeeps handle. I've been driving a Ford Escape for the last ten years - which I absolutly loved.
